What does the Culture, Radio, Film and Television Tourism Bureau do?

The duties of the Culture, Radio, Film and Tourism Bureau are as follows:

1. Implement the principles, policies and decision-making arrangements of the Party and the state on culture, radio and television and tourism, study and formulate relevant policies and measures and organize their implementation, and draft relevant laws, regulations or normative documents.

2. Coordinate the development of cultural undertakings, cultural industries and tourism, formulate and implement development plans, promote the integrated development of culture and tourism, and reform the system and mechanism of culture, radio and television and tourism.

3. Manage major cultural, radio, television and tourism activities, guide the construction of key cultural, radio, television and tourism facilities, organize and publicize the overall image of culture and tourism, promote foreign cooperation and exchange and market promotion in the cultural, cultural relics and tourism industries, formulate and implement tourism market development plans, and guide and promote global tourism.
