Xiangtun Village is located in Dazhuangke Township, Yanqing County, Beijing. Drive along Changchi Road to Jiezi Stone. There is a large archway on the right hand side with the inscription "Dongsancha Xiangtun"

Wangzhuang Village", enter from the archway, walk through Dongsancha Village for about 1.5 kilometers, and you will reach Xiangtun.

Xiangtun was built in the Guihai year of Tianqi (1623) in the Ming Dynasty. It is said that there used to be a mountain temple on the top of the mountain, which was named after the strong incense. The village is not big, with only about twenty households.

The village has a beautiful environment, simple and natural, surrounded by green mountains and green trees, with the Great Wall standing behind it, and small streams flowing in the north and east of the village. After the windlass and well enter the village entrance, turn left and go to the back of the village. Along the field path, you can reach the Great Wall in the north of the village. This section of the Great Wall has been repaired with stone and lime. Although it is no longer its original appearance, it is a hundred times better than the cement repair of the Xiaohekou Great Wall in Liaodong. The Great Wall is winding and winding, with the Water Great Wall Scenic Area to the east and the Longquanyu Great Wall to the west.

The comfortable forest path passes the Great Wall and continues forward, passing through Longquanyu Village. You can follow the cement road until you reach the Wangquangou Bridge. Under the bridge is the famous water-playing valley—— Shuiquangou. Along this valley, heading west, you can reach Shuiquangou Village.

This valley is full of strange rocks of all sizes. It is cool to escape the heat in summer, and it is fun to go ice-skating in winter. It is really a good place for hiking. Going east, you can reach the Black Dragon Pool Grand Canyon in the Great Water Wall Scenic Area.

But there is a fee to enter the scenic spot. Of course, the best place for hiking here is not the Great Water Wall Scenic Area. Not far after passing the Black Dragon Pond, there is a hidden mountain path on the right, which is where the surprise lies.

The first time I took this route in Heilongtan was during the Qingming Festival. At that time, the planned track failed, so I temporarily changed it to this route. After climbing to the top of the mountain, not far from the south side is the remnant Great Wall. The beautiful scenery in front of us amazed us and stunned us for a long time.

On the hillside, on the Great Wall, in the distance and near, wherever you can see, there are mountain peach blossoms blooming in competition.

The spring water in the canyon is tinkling, and the mountain peach blossoms are falling on the stream in the wind, passing by with the water. The road was extremely quiet, with only the rustle of our team walking, the laughter of children and the chirping of birds in the trees.

In April, in the valley where the ice and snow were still melting, a stone house suddenly came into view. The curtains were hung and the glass was clear, indicating that there were people living here, and it also made people feel the smell of fireworks in the valley. .

As we approached the exit on the south side of the canyon, there was actually a bookstore with the sign "Linxi Bookstore" written on the door lintel. The house is also made of stone, simple and natural. I guess the owner is also a very interesting person in life.

The stone houses in the valley, set against the mountain flowers and first green, look like a paradise.

Linxi Bookstore walked in a circle and returned to the starting point. A travel friend who is not a foodie is not a qualified donkey. Next, eating is an indispensable part. Find a farmhouse to stay, bring out various foods such as mutton, chicken wings, and prawns, and have a barbecue feast.

The chicken that was ordered in advance from the farmer has been stewed in the kitchen, and the aroma wafting out makes people salivate. The fathers mingled and drank happily in the house, the mothers chatted happily in the courtyard, and the children played even more happily in the yard.

Walking the most beautiful road with barbecue, watching the most beautiful scenery, accompanying the baby, and being accompanied by a lot of friends, there is no greater happiness than this.

(1) Before the hiking route reaches the Black Dragon Pond, there is a slope on a boulder. There is a pit carved in the stone that can only accommodate half a foot. Pay attention to safety when using. When raising children, you must pay special attention to protecting them.

(2) If you have difficulty walking around, you can go to the Great Wall behind the village and play by the water under the Wangquangou Bridge, return the same way, or go east from the village entrance directly to Dayun Canyon to play.

(4) If you stay in a farmhouse, you can continue walking and viewing flowers the next day. Other nearby routes include Dongsancha~Shangkou, Longquanyu Great Wall, Shuiquangou, etc. Or go play near the Ming Tombs on the way back.

(5) Regarding food, the breakfast pancakes at a farmhouse in Xiangtun where we stayed were particularly delicious. For this reason, we still drove more than 20 kilometers of mountain roads after we went hiking on the Chuangdaokou Great Wall during Qingming Festival the next year. , returned to Xiangtun for accommodation. In addition, the donkey rolling feast in nearby Shangkou Village is also good, delicious and not expensive. You can also try the spring cake banquet in Kangling Village. The price is per person and the food is enough.
