How long does it usually take to get an endorsement from Japan?
If an individual travels to Japan, the time required for a Japanese individual tourist visa is generally within five to seven working days. (except Saturday, Sunday and legal holidays), this visa has a limited period of three months, during which you can only enter the country once. It takes four to six working days to apply for a visa to visit relatives and friends in Japan, which is basically the same as a business visa.
1. After obtaining the residence qualification, apply for a visa through embassies and consulates in China.
2. The visa review period of Beijing Embassy is 4 days, which may be extended under special circumstances. In other words, if you apply at the Beijing Embassy, you will get it within one week.
3. However, the review cycle of consulates around the country is longer than that of ambassador curators. For example, the review period of Shenyang visa is 10 days, or even longer. Other places are also more than 7 days, plus the middle weekend, the time is longer.
4. Japanese schools have started, and the visas haven't come down yet. Embassies and consulates in China will not speed up the progress just because your school starts or not. Just like the qualification examination, they have the final say and there is no reason.
If you ask how long it will take from applying for studying abroad to getting a visa, it's hard to say, about half a year. Review the qualification to stay in China first, and then review the visa.
Legal basis:
Article 9 of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Exit and Entry Administration.
China citizens shall apply for passports or other travel documents when leaving or entering the country. China citizens who want to go to other countries or regions also need to obtain visas or other entry permits. However, unless the China government has signed visa exemption agreements with other governments or the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs provide otherwise. China citizens who leave or enter the country as seafarers and work on foreign ships shall apply for a seaman's certificate according to law.
