Introduction of Mengjinglai Scenic Spot in Xishuangbanna Prefecture

Mengjinglai is located in Menghai County, Xishuangbanna Prefecture, in the border area between China and Myanmar. Luo Kun Highway is 5 kilometers away from Rhoda Port and blends with Xiaomengla, the capital of the fourth special zone of Shan State, Myanmar. The clear Rhoda River flows from the west side of the stockade, forming a natural border. On the other side of the river is Myanmar, so it is called "the first village in China and Myanmar". Mengjinglai is a typical traditional Dai village, adjacent to Myanmar. Frequent contacts and intermarriage with the border people of Shan nationality in Myanmar have formed a rare phenomenon of Dai and Shan living together. The scenic spot covers an area of 5.6 square kilometers, including 100 mu of paddy fields and several fish ponds. The pastoral scenery is true and natural, with 58 pagodas and thousands of bodhi trees standing. The village is simple and elegant, and the Dai people are warm and hospitable. The primitive life of the Dai family in Zhaili 1 10 still retains the traditional living form and lifestyle. Beliefs and customs integrated into the soul, there are Buddhist temples, Tallinn, Bodhi trees and Gu Quan in the village, which exude rich Buddhist cultural characteristics and spread to all parts of the south. The Dai villagers in Zhaizi still continue and retain the ancient crafts of papermaking, ironing, pottery making, sugar pressing and wine making handed down by their ancestors. They are living Dai folk handicrafts. Meng Jinglai was named "the first batch of 50 villages with rural tourism characteristics in Yunnan Province" in February 20 10, and was awarded dozens of honorary titles such as "China Dai culture protection and inheritance demonstration base" and "China cultural tourism demonstration base" by China Cultural Protection Foundation in June 20 13.
