Tianmen Mountain

Tianmen Mountain is located in Da Qiao Town, Jiujiang District, Wuhu City, Anhui Province, with an altitude of 82. 12 meters and more than 20 kilometers away from Wuhu City. This is a famous mountain with a long history.

Tianmen Mountain is steep, like a knife and axe, and stands abruptly in the middle of the river. For thousands of years, Tianmen Mountain has attracted celebrities and poets from all previous dynasties to travel and recite poems because of its unique mountain-like water potential and rich historical and cultural heritage. Li Bai, a famous poet in the Tang Dynasty, traveled here many times, leaving a well-known quatrain "Looking at Tianmen Mountain": "Tianmen cut off the Chu River, and from then on, the clear water flowed eastward, and the green hills on both sides of the strait were opposite, and the sails came alone."

Tianmenshan tourist area is divided into two parts: "outside the embankment" and "inside the embankment" of the Yangtze River. Yashan is a protected area in Feng Dan, China, and is a famous "hometown of peony". Before and after each visit to Tomb-Sweeping Day, patches and clusters of blooming peonies are dotted between rocks and peaks, and the flowers and stones set each other off beautifully, covering an area of 30,000 mu, which is a great wonder in the south of the Yangtze River.
