The Department of Management and Service has three majors: operation and management of high-star hotels, tourism service and management, and aged care. There is a college entrance examination class in the management of high-star hotels. The Ministry aims to cultivate technical and skilled talents in the elderly health service industry with strong health management core competence and intermediate service and management talents working in tourism enterprises and institutions, so as to realize the dream of traveling around the world.

The courses offered by high-star hotel management majors include introduction to tourism, service psychology, front office service and management, room service and management, catering service and management, conference service, entertainment service and management, service etiquette, communication skills, hotel professional English, hotel marketing and so on. Tourism service and management majors offer courses such as tourism policies and regulations, introduction to tourism, China tourism geography, basic knowledge of tour guides, tour guide practice, tourism aesthetics, tourism English, and explanation of tourist attractions. Geriatric nursing majors offer professional courses such as communication skills for the elderly, ethics and etiquette for the elderly, policies and regulations for the elderly, nursing theory and practice for the elderly, pharmaceutical care, psychological comfort and practice for the elderly, nursing skills, planning and organization of activities for the elderly, and health management. The professional department has body (dance) training room, Chinese and western training room, Chinese bed-making training room, tea training room, image design (makeup) and so on, and there are more than 200 workstations for students to operate.

In the Chongqing Skills Competition on 20/7/2009, this major won 3 gold medals, 1 1 silver medal and1bronze medal. In 2009, it was known as the "dark horse" because of its outstanding performance.
