First, why should we arrange training? (the meaning of training)

1. Training is a special training course in our school every winter and summer vacation. At the end of the semester, students will be trained intensively, and each campus will arrange it by itself. The duration will be determined according to the holiday time of each campus, usually about one to two weeks.

2? What is training?

In addition to the new course content of learning to walk at ordinary times, we will arrange many review and practice courses. Systematically consolidate and check the contents learned in the previous stage! Create an environment where you can concentrate on practicing oral English, so as to make a breakthrough and concentrate on training students' oral English ability! So some of them were not skilled in previous classes. It doesn't matter, they will get familiar with it in training! It doesn't matter if you take the exam slowly before, the training will be faster! I have missed classes before, and the effect of making up lessons is not so good. It doesn't matter. I will help you review all the training!

In short, the training course is a comprehensive review and oral English improvement course, which will improve students' learning qualitatively. In fact, for us, training is arranged because it is a long vacation (winter vacation/summer vacation) and our memory will be forgetful. After a winter vacation or summer vacation, what students learn this semester will become fragmented and unfamiliar when they come back next semester. As for oral English, we all know that if we don't practice oral English for three days, oral English will definitely decline.

Unlike school courses, they are not needed after the completion of a semester and exams. Our courses for more than a year are continuous, and we have spent a lot of time to let students break through the shortcomings of oral English, develop the habit of speaking foreign languages, establish confidence in learning foreign languages, and make students more confident. So we must do some training to create such an environment for students to break through themselves. During the training period, we don't have only one and a half hours of study and practice as usual, but you will have one morning and one afternoon to output, practice and break through yourself, and teachers and classmates will practice with you day and night. After this kind of practice, students who are afraid or don't like speaking foreign languages can be infected and trained. After a certain period of preparation and practice, they can speak bravely. The more they practice, the smoother they will be, and the final level will be qualitative. After all, the habit of never speaking a foreign language in primary school is deeply rooted, so all our children in China learn a dumb foreign language. In order to break through this obstacle, we must do something to train and improve it! This is the biggest purpose and significance of arranging training.

Of course, we know that arranging training will cause students' resistance. They want to go home and go out to play. In short, who wants to stay and study after the holiday? ! What about the teacher? Let me ask my classmates a question first. Will it be easier for teachers if they don't arrange training? Of course it will! Teachers usually have two classes every day for four hours. During the training, the teacher has at least four classes a day for eight hours, not including the review classes and reading exercises interspersed in the middle. They speak for two days and three days, that is, they correct their compositions after class, and students practice their compositions, and they have to listen to them repeatedly to correct their pronunciation. In addition, students are in the classroom all day and need to be accompanied all the time! So for teachers, training is also a great challenge.

And as you can see, there is a real risk of epidemic now (though it is not big), but all universities can have a holiday as soon as possible. If students leave school immediately, the school will not have to bear the responsibility of the slightest risk and loss risk. But we, burdened with these risks and responsibilities, resist such great pressure and let students stay and study! Why are we? Teachers have a two-week holiday. Doesn't it smell good? These two weeks are reserved for myself, whether it's studying, traveling or being free. After working hard for a semester, can't you take a serious rest for two weeks? Let me ask the students one more question. The school exam holiday is so urgent that everyone is happy to go home early. But what did the students learn this semester? Many of our classmates are freshmen, and they are finally admitted to the university. They filled in their volunteers in a thousand ways and studied happily for a semester, but where are the gains from their growth? Obey the training arrangements of the university, attend classes, attend lectures (some don't listen), participate in student unions, societies and engage in activities, but where is the actual growth and ability improvement? Students don't have to answer my question, just have the answer in their hearts. Therefore, we resist the pressure to arrange training, and the teachers accompany us around the clock to practice before the holidays, helping students break through the shortcomings of foreign languages, so that students can improve and grow in a down-to-earth way, and live up to the growth of students' desire to go to college and the expectations of their parents. This is also the sense of responsibility that our school has been running, and it is also our attitude and conscience that we must be responsible for the growth of our classmates.

4. Since childhood, have you ever heard of training courses such as summer camp, winter camp or three-day and two-night training camp? Frankly speaking, the charge, cost and effect are ok, because intensive training will improve and grow in that environment! We are also a training class, and we always boast that we are the most cost-effective training class … we will have what others have ~ and we will definitely do better than others! Growth and progress will be better than others, and the cost performance will be higher. Because we don't need extra diplomatic tuition for training, we only need to pay the tuition in stages, and we can pay the new course content at any stage. Students who paid the tuition in the previous stage don't have to pay it again! Because all the remedial courses are free …

5. Learning anything requires persistence! In fact, students all know that any ability or knowledge you can acquire is the result of your long-term accumulation and persistence, so we must learn to adhere to this course in the process of learning a foreign language, and the arrangement of training is actually to train students to learn to overcome difficulties and adhere to the quality of learning! Ask yourself, do you think study is more important or vacation is more important? If you think it is important to study and persist in learning, then when you can speak a fluent foreign language, when others cast envious eyes, when your work and life are smoother because you are better than others, these stories are the materials you use to brag or for Versailles ... 1, the advantage is that students can greatly improve themselves through training. Each of our students has different speed and methods of learning a foreign language, and their level is also uneven. Some students are outstanding in spoken English, while others are proficient in vocabulary and words. Then, through training, let the students check and fill in the gaps with each other, practice with each other, promote their own long board and short board, and make everyone more perfect.

Then through training, let students learn to persist and learn this quality. It is not difficult for students to study in the future, because as long as they find the right method and keep learning, they will certainly learn something.

Also, during the training, everyone will get along with each other, study, practice and play games. And get to know each other better. More or less, it will enhance each other's friendship, and everyone will stay together to study and struggle, which will let the students gain a war friendship! And this friendship may be much more precious than the college classmates or roommates that students cannot choose! Because these people who struggle with you will have greater possibilities in the future!

Of course, there will be disadvantages. The disadvantage is that teachers have to bear the risks and responsibilities of students staying here to study! Be responsible for students and reassure parents! So for this, students need to cooperate with teachers, keep safety awareness in mind at any time, study hard in training, improve their ability, complete training with full harvest and growth, and then go home safely!

Third, training arrangements-accommodation arrangements and course arrangements.

1. Accommodation arrangement: If the school can apply for accommodation, it will live in the dormitory. If the school can't stay, it will concentrate on arranging accommodation and then move out until the school is over. The teaching point will arrange a homestay or hotel nearby, and the teacher will know in advance and arrange it for the students. The safety, hygiene and price of accommodation will be considered for students. Of course, if you need to stay outside for a few days, you need to prepare some living and accommodation expenses. During the training, the teacher will check the bed every day and contact the students at any time to ensure safety.

4. What do you need to prepare/overcome in training?

1. For teachers, the class pressure of training will be much greater than usual. Teachers need to prepare an excellent mental state and physical state to lead students to grow up. In the process of training, teachers need to devote themselves to paying attention to each student's learning progress and arranging practice review, so they need to temporarily put aside all other things that rank second. The most important thing during the training period is the course and work, and the most important thing is the students!

As far as students are concerned, first of all, students need to prepare a growing mentality. Everyone else is on holiday, going home, chic and happy. We must stay and study. This mentality is not so easy to cross! But once you cross this hurdle, you will take a big step, which means that when you grow up and understand, you can gradually have the ability to fight against the world. You need to put off your plan to travel with your friends for a while. You need to explain to your parents why we should stay and study. You need to reassure your parents that you (and we) can really be responsible for your own safety and study. What you show your parents is that you can gradually become independent. In fact, this is what you 18 years old should have. The so-called adulthood is called independence. On this basis, learn skills well and exercise yourself well, and you will have the ability of economic independence.

Secondly, according to the situation of each campus, it is necessary to prepare a certain living expenses. There is no extra tuition fee for the training itself, only the first-stage tuition fee needs to be paid during the course. All other extra review classes, practice classes, activity classes, etc. All of them are free of extra fees, but the training will require a certain amount of living expenses for one to two weeks, depending on the students' own consumption level. Accommodation will not be very expensive, and the teacher will arrange the most suitable and affordable price. Eating downstairs and around encourages students to be frugal and not extravagant.

5. Can I skip the training? Consequences of not attending training.

No way!

In principle, we are voluntary, but from the course arrangement, students can see that we are trying our best to make the course rich and exciting, so that all students can be improved, so we hope that every student can participate in the training camp and grow. Then some students said that I really didn't want to go to class, or that I couldn't go to class because of force majeure. What about these students?

First of all, if the training lags behind the course, the progress will definitely not keep up with the original course. Then come back next semester to see if there are any classes with suitable progress in the campus, and if there are, change classes. If not, we will start from a new class ... but there will be training next semester and summer vacation ... Secondly, even if there are classes with appropriate progress, frankly speaking, we are not optimistic about the level of students who have not participated in the training. Not only will progress fall behind, but the level will also fall far behind. As I said before, unfamiliar with spoken English, unfamiliar with ... will be such a state and level. Over time, it will be compared by other students, which will have a bad influence on their mentality, unless ... they start from scratch with a new class, but can he overcome the challenge of mentality and repeat the tuition (half the tuition) ... I don't know, so it's hard to say whether the students who didn't participate in the training can continue to stick to it in the future ...

So in a word, training is a big challenge for every teacher and student. We all have our own difficulties and problems to overcome, so I hope everyone can work together to overcome their own problems and difficulties, so that students can grow up and teachers can gain something.
