The foundation of Nanming is much better than that of the late Northern Song Dynasty. Why can't we recover the country in the end?

Don't say that Nanming can recover lost ground, and even defending half of the country will eventually fail. Nanming failed to live in the south and continue the dynasty like the Southern Song Dynasty because of the demise of the Ming Dynasty. The most fundamental reason is not foreign aggression, but internal class struggle. Therefore, even if the foundation of Nanming is much better than that of the late Northern Song Dynasty, it is impossible for Nanming to recover its territory.

The Northern Song Dynasty died in Tatar, and the Southern Ming Dynasty died in civil strife. Since the founding of the People's Republic of China, the surrounding diplomatic environment has not been optimistic. The Khitans were eyeing up in the north and fighting with the Northern Song Dynasty. In the war between the Northern Song Dynasty and the Khitan, the victory was less and the defeat was more, mainly because the generals in the Northern Song Dynasty were suppressed by the Jin Dynasty, so the combat effectiveness of the Northern Song army could not reach a strong state. Moreover, there is Xixia established by Tangut people in the southwest, which has nothing to do with it except fighting with the Northern Song Dynasty and seizing some sites in the Northern Song Dynasty, which also makes the Northern Song Dynasty a headache. Later, the state of Jin, established by Jurchen, also joined in the fun, and often had border wars with the Northern Song Dynasty. In short, the northern song dynasty played this and that all day. No matter how strong the military strength was in the Northern Song Dynasty, it could not bear to fight with several countries all the year round. Finally, the Northern Song Dynasty was destroyed by the State of Jin, which was unexpected, but it was also an accident.

However, the Ming Dynasty was different. The Ming Dynasty originally destroyed the Yuan Dynasty established by the Mongols, and then it took many years to pursue the Mongols in the north. Moreover, the Ming dynasty also had the tradition of not cutting land, the emperor protecting the country and the king dying, and it was an iron and blood empire properly. To be exact, during the Ming Dynasty, the neighboring minority regimes could not threaten the rule of the Ming Dynasty. Even at the end of the Ming Dynasty, the Jurchen nationality rose, but the riddled Ming empire still kept Huang Taiji's Jurchen fighters out of Shanhaiguan. If it weren't for serious party struggles and internal peasant uprisings, the Ming Dynasty would not have been wiped out by Li Zicheng's army. In other words, the Qing Dynasty was able to successfully enter the Central Plains, but it was just a fluke by taking advantage of Li Zicheng's fire.

After the demise of the Ming dynasty, the party struggle continued, the Qing dynasty entered the customs, and the Ming royal family established the Nanming regime in the south. In fact, there were only more than 200,000 troops entering the customs at that time, and they only controlled the northern part of the Central Plains. If the Nanming regime launches a counterattack, it is very likely that the Qing soldiers will be defeated and the lost land will be recovered. This statement is not blindly optimistic, mainly because at the beginning of the founding of the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang formulated many policies to benefit the people. The Ming dynasty was also one of the dynasties with the lowest taxes on the people in history, and the people had a high degree of affection for the Ming dynasty. In other words, the Nanming regime may call on the people to resist the Qing army. In fact, the strength of the small court in Nanming is not weak. If we really compete with the Qing soldiers, those troops who entered the customs in the early Qing Dynasty may not be the opponents of Nanming.

Unfortunately, Emperor Chongzhen was not prepared for national subjugation. After the Ming Dynasty, he died as a martyr. As for the heir to the throne, he has no formal title at all. So the princes of Chongzhen became the masters who could feed them. After the establishment of Nanming, some people supported this prince as emperor, while others supported that prince as emperor. In short, everyone thinks they are orthodox and refuses to recognize the legitimacy of the other party, so they should have been twisted into a rope and split into several forces. And even in a group, there is a power grab between military commanders and civil servants, just like the party struggle in the late Ming Dynasty. Anyway, even if you don't like me, I don't think you are satisfied, and the decrees are not unified. You can imagine how strong the fighting capacity of this small court in Nanming is, just like a piece of yellow sand.

Just like in the game, sometimes it's amazing to start with nuclear weapons. Later, even if we lost the city, as long as we had the equipment, we could successfully counterattack in minutes. But the problem is that playing BOSS requires not only equipment, but also god-like teammates. Nan Ming is like a team with good hardware. Although I lost for a while, I still have a chance to make a comeback. It's a pity that Nan Ming's team is full of pig-like teammates, and it's not good to kill the enemy. We are all good players, so even if Nanming has a good foundation, we can't recover the country.
