Composition by Hu Sha in Ningxia 1500 words

During the summer vacation, my family traveled to Ningxia. The first stop, we came to Yinchuan. The next day, we went to Husha Lake.

Husha Lake is a big lake. There is a bird island and a sand island in the middle of the lake. We must go to Sha Island and Bird Island by boat.

We took a paddle boat. The boat left, the breeze blew, and we had a good time studying. We looked at the beautiful scenery in the lake with curiosity. We saw green reeds, clumps of tall and thin reeds dressed up the lake as a big maze, and boats shuttled quickly inside. The sky is so blue, the clouds are so white and the water is so green. I don't know how long it took, but a silvery white fish suddenly jumped out of the water at the stern, splashing and swaying at my feet. Herons are dressed in elegant black and white dresses. Some of them are still staring at the water, waiting for the arrival of fish, and some are flying freely in the sky. Finally, we arrived at Bird Island. On the island, we saw the beautiful black swan gliding gracefully with its oars in the water. White geese hatch eggs in the nest; Larks sang a beautiful song. There are some artificial ancient wooden houses on the island, some are chicken coops, some are inns, and some are … very quaint.

We came to sand island again. We saw someone playing jet skis and splashing water around the corner. I played on the island for a while, and then went to a museum to watch a performance. There is a bird that can skate and count. How interesting! Later, we left by boat.

Husha Lake's distant mountains, near water, blue sky, white clouds, beaches, green reeds, birds flying and fish jumping are like a beautiful picture, which is deeply imprinted in my heart. Hu Sha, I love you.
