Self-help tour from Shanghai to Yunnan (Shangri-La, Lijiang, Dali)

1, the car is still very safe, but the mountain road will be tired. Train tickets are more difficult to buy than bus tickets. It is recommended to take a bus from Kunming to Dali (both are high-speed), and Dali to Lijiang can consider taking a train (the train is faster, and Dali to Lijiang are basically mountain roads). There is only a car from Lijiang to Shangri-La.

2. Dali can visit the ancient city, Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake, and have a look at the three pagodas. Your itinerary is to stay in Dali for one night, and you can visit the ancient city that night. It is enough to arrange a tour of Cangshan, Erhai and Santai the next day.

There are many inns in Lijiang, but if you want to find your own inn, I suggest you make a reservation in advance. Li Jiayuan-Naxi Courtyard is recommended for accommodation in Lijiang. The inn is located in the residential area of the ancient city. The yard is beautiful, characterized by quiet and warmth. Price 60-200 yuan, the boss is nice. If Dali likes quiet, it is recommended to live by Erhai Lake. Shangri-la, of course, lives in the ancient city of Shangri-la. Meili Snow Mountain can live in Feilai Temple, which is convenient for seeing Rizhao Jinshan in the morning.

4. Hotels or inns in Kunming, Dali and Lijiang basically have Internet access, while Shangri-La is more difficult. The ATM is very convenient.

It is suggested to fly back to Shanghai from Lijiang on the return trip, which saves time.

D 1: Shanghai-Kunming-Dali (stay in Dali)-Visit the ancient city of Dali in the evening.

D2: Dali-Lijiang (staying in Old Town of Lijiang)-Visit Cangshan, Erhai and Santai. Depart from Dali in the afternoon, visit Lijiang in the evening and visit Old Town of Lijiang in the evening.
