Passports are valid for at least six and a half months (at least six and a half months from the date of application) and have at least two blank pages for visas. The last page of passport must be signed by the holder in Chinese (pen or fountain pen). If you want to renew your passport, you must provide your old passport.

If the child's accompanying person is not a parent or applies alone, it is necessary to provide a copy of the entire household registration book, a copy of the birth certificate, a copy of the first page of the passport and a letter of authorization issued by the parents (the handwritten certificate of the parents' consent to take the child abroad, write down the date and sign it, and be sure to leave the real parents' mobile phone, because the consulate will call to ask. )

Any applicant who provides a passport with a child's photo, if the photo provided at the time of application is different or the photo between the applicant and the passport is quite different, must apply to the police station for an identity certificate stamped with the official seal to prove that the child is the passport holder, otherwise the customs may refuse entry.
