Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, the capital of * * County, is one of the eight prefecture-level administrative regions in Qinghai. It borders Haidong City and Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in the east, Haixi Mongolian Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in the west, Guoluo Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in the south and Qinghai Lake and Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in the north. The average elevation of the whole state is over 3000 meters, although the highest elevation is 5305 meters and the lowest elevation is 2 168 meters. Geomorphological zoning belongs to Qaidam-Huangzhong elevation basin, middle elevation basin in eastern Qinghai, Qinghai Lake-* * and middle elevation basin.
The whole state is in a pattern of alternating basins and mountains in the northwest-southeast direction. From north to south, it is Qinghai Lake Basin, rolling hills of Nanshan, * * * and-Guide Basin, rolling hills of Heka Mountain, Xinghai-Tongde Basin, and rolling hills of Mogushan-Sangchigang.
At the two ends of this nearly east-west undulating pattern, there are northwest-northwest rolling mountains of Ila Mountain in the west and Xishan-Zamaligang rolling mountains in the east. The formation of this basic landform is based on the difference between the geological tectonic blocks and the mountains raised by the intermountain fault basin, and there is a nearly north-south structural belt on the east and west sides of the basin.
Mountain is the main landform type in Quanzhou, accounting for 42.3% of the total land area in Quanzhou, and hills and residual mountains account for 1 1% of the total land area in Quanzhou. The plains and terraces at middle altitude account for 46.7% of the total land area in Quanzhou, of which the valley terraces account for 12.4%.
