The whole journey takes 52 hours and 27 minutes. At present, there is no direct train from Tibet to Yunnan. From Lhasa, Tibet to Kunming, Yunnan, you need to take the following train:

Take the Z22 train from Lhasa Station, leave at 16:00, run at 2 1:30, and arrive at Xining Station at 13:30 the next day. The fare is 224 yuan.

Transfer to D2726 Fuxing train at Xining Station, leave at 15:00, and arrive at Xi 'an North Station at 20:23. The fare is 257.5 yuan. You need to leave Xi 'an North Station, then take local transportation outside the station, and then transfer to Xi 'an South Station.

Take K385 train from Xi 'an, leave at 2 1:2 1, run at 10:42, and arrive at Chengdu Railway Station at 08:03 the next day. The fare is RMB 128 yuan. If you need to get out of Chengdu Railway Station, take local transportation and change at Chengdu East Railway Station.

Chengdu East takes the G285 1 train, which leaves at 14:02 and arrives at Kunming South Station at 06:25 and 20:27, with a fare of 494.5.

4. How to get to Yunnan from Lhasa?

The best route to drive from Lhasa to Yunnan is National Highway 3 18. It takes about 5 hours (including rest time) to take Linla Expressway from Lhasa to Linzhi. To go to Ranwu Lake in Linzhi, you should climb Mount Sejila to see the weather and road conditions. It's best to spend the night in Ranwu Lake, so you don't have to hurry at night. If the road conditions are good, you can spend the night in Basu.

Starting from Ranwu the next day, you can get to Kangding early and hide in Yunnan soon. So from Lhasa to Kangding, it takes at least three days for a person to drive at night. If there are more than two drivers, don't rest.

5. Road map from Lhasa to Yunnan

The nearest area in Tibet to Yunnan is Mangkang County.

Mangkang County is located in the southeast of Xizang Autonomous Region, the easternmost part of Qamdo City, and the intersection of Sichuan, Yunnan and Tibet provinces. It is located between 9800-9905 east longitude and 2837-3020 north latitude. It is adjacent to Batang County, Sichuan Province in the east, Deqin County, Yunnan Province in the south, Zuogong County in the west, Gongjue County and Chaya County in the north.

9. Tourist routes from Yunnan to Lhasa

At present, there is no direct train from Yunnan to Tibet, so we can only travel through transit. Chengdu, Chongqing or Guangzhou, which are closer to Kunming, Yunnan (relative to Beijing, Shanghai and Xi 'an), can be used as transit stations. There are direct trains to Lhasa in all three places.
