Types of tents

Outdoor sports tents are divided into several categories: advertising tents (propaganda tents), military tents (civil tents, construction site tents), herringbone tents, tourist tents {(three seasons tents (for ordinary outdoor activities) and four seasons tents (for winter/mountain use)} disaster relief tents, inflatable tents, decontamination tents and children's play tents. Here is a detailed introduction to the differences between these types of tents.

According to the way of spreading, it can be divided into two types: quick opening tent and hand building tent. The construction tents in early China were put forward by wartime needs and military tents. Because of its durability, suitable fabric, low cost and adaptability to various terrains, it has become the first choice for building tents and engineering tents, and the embryonic form of modern building tents is this reason.

(1) Tent specifications: common specifications 5* 10 5X8 5X6 5X4 3X4 2*3.

(2) The tent is reasonable in structure, safe and reliable to use, and can bear 8-level wind and 8 cm thick snow load at the same time.

(3) The tent adopts a steel frame structure, which is simple in structure and convenient to put away. It can be set up or put away by four people in about 20 minutes.

(4) Tent (two pieces of cloth+steel frame * * *), with a packaging volume of 0.8 cubic meters. Herringbone tent, also known as tent, tent, etc. , mainly used for outdoor large-scale activities.

The main structure of herringbone tent consists of two parts, one is the aluminum alloy main frame, and the other is the tarpaulin. In fact, it is often equipped with other comprehensive supporting facilities to beautify and improve activities with various themes.

1. The main structure of the large tent with herringbone roof adopts high-strength aluminum alloy profiles, and the construction principle is aluminum box beam frame. The bracing connection between columns is made of steel members, the roof is reinforced by stay cables, and the roof and wall are wrapped with base cloth. Materials are selected according to GB/T-6063 standard of Aluminum Alloy Profile, and tested by National Nonferrous Metal Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, and the materials are qualified. The tent building project has a solid foundation, and the materials and structures used have high integrity and safety. The building structure has reached strict European standards. The whole structure has passed the wind resistance test and damage test of professional institutions.

Second, the tarpaulin adopts professional coated fabric PVC. It has long-lasting adhesion: scraper coating technology applies the physical and chemical adhesion between liquid PVC and fiber, and directly scrapes the slurry on the fabric; Strong welding performance: the welded fabric can withstand great tension, even in harsh environments such as hurricanes and frequent operations, it will not affect the sealing degree of welded joints; Long service life: a certain thickness not only gives the blade coating good anti-ultraviolet performance, but also prolongs the service life of the product; Good color fastness: because the pigment is directly immersed in PVC coating, the coated fabric can keep bright color as new. The performances of corrosion resistance, mildew resistance, ultraviolet resistance and flame retardancy (M2, B 1) all reached international standards. If properly used and preserved, it will not rot and mildew in three to five years.

Third, the supporting system. There are six series of supporting facilities for herringbone tents, including walls, floors, furniture, lamps, fabrics and other comprehensive supporting facilities. All integrated designs are unexpected and impossible. It mainly provides comprehensive, concrete and perfect space solutions for activities of different nature and styles.

1. The frame is made of high-quality steel and aluminum profiles, which is firm and safe.

2. The tarpaulin is made of high-grade synthetic fiber and double-layer PVC material, which has the advantages of high strength, wind resistance, rain resistance, sun protection and flame retardant.

3, easy to assemble and disassemble, it is the best product for outdoor display.

4. The tarpaulin can be folded, and the disassembled frame is small, which is convenient for transportation and storage.

5. The unit combination structure can be freely added or divided according to the size of the site.

The herringbone tent spans from 6m, 8m, 9m, 10m, 15m, 18m to 50m.

Simple construction and disassembly.

The herringbone tent does not need load-bearing columns, and the site is used by 100%.

There is no special requirement for the construction site, and it can be generally flat land such as sand, grassland, asphalt, cement and tile floor. Three-season tent: usually light, usually used in spring, summer and autumn when the climate is mild. Three-season tents usually perform well in wind and rain, but their design characteristics also determine that they are generally difficult to cope with excessive snowfall. If a three-season tent can barely support the snow 2 inches thick, you must be in trouble when the snow drops to 20 inches thick. There is another feature of the three-season account. It has a certain ventilation design. In order to meet different needs, it is generally designed as a double-decker tent, which is divided into internal and external accounts. Internal accounts include full-screen accounts and half-screen accounts, and some internal and external accounts can be used separately to meet the different needs of spring, summer and autumn.

Four Seasons Tent: A stronger Four Seasons tent usually adds 65,438+0 or two support rods, so that the support system can resist stronger wind or thicker snow. In winter, tents are usually designed in a sleek dome shape to minimize the flat part of the top of the outer tent and prevent snow. Of course, these winter/mountain tents are also suitable for relatively mild climate conditions. It's just that the weight of their extra support rods makes them heavier than three seasons' bills.

The convertible account is a four-season account and can be adjusted to a three-season account. The adjustment method is usually to remove the 1 2 support rod from the tent support system, and provide a detachable ventilation part in the design, which can be removed or opened in mild weather to enhance ventilation.

The simplest form is a single account. Basically, this tent is a tarpaulin, with a tent pole supporting several vents. In warmer weather, you can open the zipper of the vent to enhance ventilation. Tent-the meaning of the word dome tent: Four Seasons tents are mostly designed with a round spherical top. The dome avoids the plane at the top of the tent, so it is not easy to snow, and this design can also better resist wind and provide enough internal space. Barracks account: the third quarter account is designed in the form of barracks account. This form of account has a rectangular bottom and a narrow and long account body. There are few support rods and fabrics used in military tents. The whole tent is wedge-shaped, but the top is flat and easy to snow. In the event of heavy snow, it is easy to cause the tent to collapse.

Self-supporting tent: Dome tents can stand on their own feet. This means that it can stand on its own without extra piles or bolts. You can easily lift and move such a tent, just like carrying a big inflatable balloon. You can also easily shake, swing and beat such tents before unpacking to shake off the dust. Fabric: mostly polyester cloth, generally 2 10T polyester cloth and 190T polyester cloth on the market. Quality is based on its thickness and warp and weft density, and the technical index of waterproof fabric is based on waterproof degree. In order to improve the appearance and feel, some manufacturers have painted silica gel on the outer account, which looks translucent, and more importantly, this tent will be lighter.

Waterproof only coated with AC or PU. Generally only used for children or game accounts.

Waterproof 300MM is generally used for dry beach tents/sunshade tents or cotton tents, and waterproof 800MM- 1200MM is used for conventional simple camping tents.

Waterproof 1500MM-2000MM is used for mid-range tents and needs to travel for many days.

Waterproof tents over 3000MM are generally professional tents, which have been treated with high temperature/cold resistance and other technologies.

Bottom material: PE is generally the most common, and the quality mainly depends on its thickness and warp and weft density. Better and higher-grade Oxford fabric should be at least waterproof 1500MM.

The inner fabric is generally breathable nylon or breathable cotton cloth. Quality mainly depends on its density.

The rainproof performance of the outer tent cloth is calculated according to how many millimeters of water column it bears per square centimeter.

Generally, tents are above 1500mm water column, which can prevent moderate to heavy rain; Individual reaches 3000-4000mm, which can prevent continuous heavy rain.

High-quality rain-proof tarpaulin not only has high rain-proof index, but also has wide adhesive tape at the joints of the awning wiring to prevent water seepage at the joints.

Although the tent cloth outside has a high rain index, ventilation is a problem. Even on a sunny night without rain, after sleeping, the tent will still be covered with water droplets, especially on the wet ground such as grass. If it accumulates more, it will drip into the internal account. Relatively speaking, the water in the outer tent with low rain index is less than that with high rain index.

These are the water vapor exhaled by the residents in the tent, and the steam on the ground gathers in the water droplets inside the tarpaulin. Because the tent outside is rain-proof, the rain outside can't get in and the steam inside can't get out. So when you get up in the morning, avoid shaking the tent hard and be careful of the light rain.

However, there are several top tents, and the outer tents are made of waterproof and breathable materials such as GORE-TEX and BANTEX, which can solve this problem well, but the price is amazing. Supporting skeleton

There are four common supporting skeletons (commonly known as tent poles):

1, steel pipe: also known as high-frequency welded pipe, it is mainly used in large tents such as military tents and disaster relief tents. The surface is sprayed with plastic or galvanized, and it is divided into round pipes and square pipes. Generally, the pipe diameter is between19 and 50 mm, and the wall thickness is between 0.8 and 3 mm.

2. Flexibility: This is usually a children's account or a beach game account.

3. Glass fiber rod: 6.9/7.9/8.5/9.5/11/2.5 series. The thicker the rigidity, the stronger the flexibility. Therefore, whether the support of fiber pipe is reasonable depends on the ratio of its ground size to height, and it is easy to break if it is too thick or too thin. For example, 210 * 2/kloc-0 *130 is a classic size, and the pipeline is usually 7.9 or 8.5. 4. Aluminum alloy skeleton: it is relatively high-grade and difficult to detect according to the alloy proportion. Generally, the overall radian curve of the original bracket is calculated first, and then hot-pressed and shaped. It is light and easy to carry, not easy to fold, but it is easy to bend and deform due to poor quality.
