Four, the main attractions 1, Yanshan Tianchi
Yanshan Tianchi, located in the northeast of Yanqing District, is the first scenic spot on the tourist loop of Baili Gallery Scenic Area. It is named because it is located in the Yanshan Mountains and the water level is 600 meters above sea level. It is the highest reservoir in Beijing, and it is also called "Yanshan Tianchi" because it is located in the Yanshan Mountains. Yanshan Tianchi is also known as "Gaoxia Pinghu". Located in Baihebao volcanic sedimentary basin, the mountains are undulating, the water surface is vast, surrounded by forest belts, and the environment is quiet, with a total storage capacity of 654.38 billion cubic meters and an area of 5 million square meters. It is responsible for the replenishment and regulation of Miyun Reservoir, Guanting Reservoir and Ming Tombs Reservoir, in which Miyun Reservoir winds through the geological park for 30 kilometers, creating a picturesque and difficult-to-draw park with mulberry gardens on both sides.
2. Silicified Wood National Geopark
Silicified wood group is the central park and an important part of Yanqing Silicified Wood National Geopark. The large area and large number of wood fossils here are not only rare in China, but also rare natural treasures left to mankind in the late Middle Jurassic in the world. At present, there are 57 exposed silicified trees in the experimental area, of which the largest diameter is 2.5 meters and the longest is 15 meters. Most of them are yellowish brown and grayish white, mainly coniferous trees, which are well preserved and have clear annual rings.
3. Dishui Lake
Dishui Lake Scenic Area is located below the intersection of Heihe River and Baihe River, and its main landscape consists of waterfalls and caves. The source of the waterfall is three mountain springs. When the spring water flows to the nearly vertical cliffs, it rushes down, forming a waterfall with a narrow top and a wide bottom and a height of about 20 meters, which looks like a crystal clear water curtain. Behind the water curtain, there is a deep hole like water curtain cave in Huaguoshan. In spring, summer and autumn, when I came to Dishui Lake, the sound of water in my ears was like thunder, and jade was flying in front of me, which was very spectacular.
4. Wulong Canyon
Located in the lower reaches of Heihe River, it belongs to Mesozoic volcanic lava area10.40 billion years ago, with a total length of 2 kilometers. It is a typical landscape of mountains and rivers and deep valleys, with steep cliffs, rugged rocks, roaring underwater sound and splashing waves on both sides of the canyon. It is famous for its green hills and clear deep pools. Here, cliffs and pools are connected, followed by Sitan, Santan, Ertan and Toutan. Among them, Toutan is wider and Stan is the deepest. Every rainy season, the rushing river in the canyon flies down from the cliffs tens of meters high and stirs among the boulders in the mountain stream, but watching the waves hit the stones, the silverflowers splash, and the thunderous waves roar like lions is very spectacular.
5. Chaoyang Temple
Town Dongdian Village, Qian Dian, located on the land of Yang Liang. Sitting facing south, it is the largest temple in Yanqing today, accepting the worship of the mountains in front. It is a temple integrating Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism and folk customs. Chaoyang Temple is a temple that combines Buddhism, Taoism and folk customs. There is a theater in front of the temple. The southeast corner of the theater is Lingguan Hall, and the west is Jellyfish Temple. The main building is a three-step courtyard, and the front yard is a bell and drum tower and a monastery. The second entrance of the courtyard is mainly the Queen's Hall, and the thing is the Hall of Hades. The East Courtyard is the White Immortal Hall. The White Fairy Hall, also known as the Five Immortals Hall, is dedicated to folk gods such as White Fairy (White Rabbit), Fox Fairy (Fox), Dragon Fairy (Snake) and Huang Xian (Weasel). The Ursa Mahayana Hall is dedicated to Sakyamuni, Manjusri Bodhisattva, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva and eighteen arhats. The East Room is the Hall of the King of Medicine, dedicated to ten imperial doctors, including Sun Simiao, Bian Que and Hua Tuo. To the west is the Temple of Fire, dedicated to the Southern King of Mars. To the south is the Bodhisattva Wei Tuo.
6. Longwang Temple
Beiguan Longwang Temple is a rare high-rise building in Beijing. Longwang Temple, also known as "Black Dragon Temple", is located in Shaliangzi Village, Qianjiadian Town. It was built in the Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty and rebuilt in the original site in the 9th year of Ming Chenghua (1473). It consists of a main hall, a hatchback, a mountain gate and a stage, and features rain and prayer and folk temple fairs. Longwang Temple was established as a county-level cultural relics protection unit in 1993, and now it is one of the important scenic spots in Wulong Canyon Scenic Area of Baili Landscape Gallery.
7. Guandi Temple (Guandi Temple Hutong)
Guandi Temple is located in the west of Huapen Village, Qianjiadian Town. It is a courtyard with two entrances, which consists of seven parts: the mountain gate, the main hall, the back hall, the east-west annex hall, the bell and drum tower and the theater. Carved beams and painted buildings in the temple, all kinds of brick carvings are beautifully shaped, and the walls are painted with vivid murals. There is a pavilion in front of the main hall, and there is a stone basin in the pavilion, which is said to have been discovered when the temple was built that year. Legend has it that this stone basin is a treasure. Once water is injected into it, there will be lotus flowers in full bloom and goldfish swimming around in it. The name of Huapen Village comes from this. 1985, Guandi Temple was designated as a key cultural relics protection unit at the county level, and now it is one of the important attractions of Baili Landscape Gallery.
