Where is Mount Putuo?

Mount Putuo is one of the four famous Buddhist mountains in China, and is known as the "Buddhist Kingdom at Sea and the Holy Land of the South China Sea".

Putuo Mountain is located in the southern edge of Hangzhou Bay and Zhoushan Archipelago (there are more than 1390 islands in the eastern sea), which is a small island in Zhoushan Archipelago in the East China Sea and belongs to Putuo District of Zhoushan City.

Mount Putuo is 6.5 kilometers southwest of shenjiamen Fishing Port, 2.5 kilometers south of Zhujiajian Island Island and 5.3 kilometers east of Luojia. Mount Putuo is long and narrow from north to south, and the whole is rhombic. Foding Mountain in the middle is the highest, extending in all directions. Each scenic spot has its own scenic spots, which are scattered, mainly concentrated in the south and east of the island.
