Where does Chihuai Village belong?

Chihuai Village is located in the southwest of Kaihua County, 13.6 kilometers away from the county seat, with a total area of ??5 square kilometers. The whole village is mainly farmland, and the soil is mainly red loam. The area has a subtropical climate with four distinct seasons, sufficient sunlight and abundant rainfall, but the seasonal rainfall is unevenly distributed. There are 4 natural villages in Chihuai Village: Chihuai Village, Sanbian Village, Fanzhong Village and Midun Village, with 8 contracting groups. In February 2021, the Zhejiang Forestry Bureau announced the 2020 "One Village, Ten Thousand Trees" demonstration villages in Zhejiang Province, and Chihuai Village was on the list.

On January 14, 2019, Zhejiang Province’s 2018 list of “Provincial Democratic and Rule of Law Villages (Communities)” was released, and Chihuai Village was on the list.

Liyushan Site

Liyushan Site is located 200 meters south of Chihuai Village, Chihuai Town, Neolithic Age - Warring States Period, and the first batch of county cultural relics protection units. It is a human settlement site with a total area of ??about 1,800 square meters. It was discovered in August 1984 that the ruins were severely damaged. Near Chihuai Village there are Liyu Mountain Ruins, Beautiful Tantou Scenic Area, Gengong Buddhist Cultural Tourism Area, Colorful Changhong Tourism Scenic Area, Gutianshan Conservation Area and other tourist attractions, including Kaihua Longding , Kaihua Eucommia tea, Kaihua clear water fish, Kaihua mushrooms, Tibetan tofu and other specialties.
