Notes:
(1) The weather changes quickly, be careful of catching a cold (it is best to bring some necessary medicines, such as cold medicine, isatis root, heat-clearing medicine, etc.)
< p>(2) Don’t take any tour guides by the West Lake(3) Go to the teahouse to drink tea and ask about the price, be careful of being ripped off
(4) Attractions along the West Lake, except You need to buy tickets to go up to Leifeng Pagoda, but most of the rest are free, so you can go there at any time. The attractions across the road in West Lake are all charged.
(5) Rowing by hand is 80 yuan/hour. It is better to take a cruise, which is a one-ticket ticket and costs 45 yuan.
(6) The public transportation in Hangzhou is quite convenient, so if you don’t have to live by the West Lake, the price will be much cheaper if you live farther away. However, Hangzhou is really overcrowded every May Day, and it is difficult to see the usual good scenery.
(7) If you want to appreciate the best natural features of West Lake, the Yanggongdi Scenic Area on the west line of West Lake is definitely the best place to go. Everyone who has been to the scenery there will understand it. You can use it to express wild interest and tranquility. It is described as deep, watery and beautiful, and the number of tourists is relatively less than other scenic spots in the West Lake. As a self-guided tourist, it is recommended that you must go to the West Lake!
(8) △How to take a taxi:
Call a taxi: Taxis at the Hangzhou Railway Station Square are severely refused rides. The driver is not interested in short-distance passengers, so it is recommended to call a taxi on the surrounding roads. It is difficult to get a taxi at five or six o'clock in the afternoon in Hangzhou because it is shift change time, so it is recommended to take the bus during this time.
Negotiating the price: When you want to call a taxi in Hangzhou to go to mountainous areas or other scenic spots that are far away from the central city, you need to negotiate the price with the driver in advance. Don't believe the too-cheap price quoted by the driver, because in most cases, there is something behind the cheap price. It would be better to explain things clearly to the other party from the beginning.
(9) △Tourist buses:
Routes: The buses starting with the word "Y" in Hangzhou are tourist routes. The routes cover all the scenic spots around the West Lake and are very convenient. It is recommended that if you are pressed for time, you can take a tour around the lake on Tour 9 (ticket: 5 yuan). Because the West Lake is close to the city on one side and the mountains on the other, you can enjoy the scenery of the lake, mountains and city in a leisurely manner.
If you want to visit the scenic spots around the West Lake, you can also choose the 2-story open-top sightseeing car around the West Lake, and the fare is not very expensive.
Be sure to check the bus schedule and time (earliest and latest)! !
(10)△Bicycle rental:
There are many stalls to rent bicycles by the West Lake, and the prices vary. It is recommended to ask for the price when borrowing a car, even if the stalls are a few meters apart. Generally speaking, it will be more expensive to rent a car at tourist spots with a lot of traffic. There is no parking fee for parking in scenic spots around the West Lake (except Leifeng Pagoda).
"Yiyoutang" has set up 30 rental outlets around the West Lake, and rented bicycles can be returned at any of its outlets. Renting a car generally requires a deposit of 300 yuan, and the rental fee is 10 yuan/hour. Hangzhou Jiangnanyi International Youth Hostel rents bicycles for 10 yuan for half a day and 20 yuan for one day.
(11) West Lake Cruise:
The West Lake cruises come in various sizes, with different prices. A boat costs 120 yuan or 160 yuan, and can seat about 10 people. It is best to find a Some people shared a boat. The cruise ship goes back and forth, and the starting point is the end point, so be sure to ask beforehand.
(This is not a cruise ship!)

2. Hanting Express Hotel
3. Home Inn
4. Pudding Hotel Chain

There are many hotels on West Lake Avenue Yes, I found it! Pay attention to those soliciting accommodation at the train station and ignore them!
