Introduction to Jiulong Lake Scenic Area Jiulong Lake Scenic Area is a tourist resort on the north bank of Zhenhai Jiulong Lake (formerly Shizilu Reservoir). Here, you can take a boat to see monkeys on Monkey Island, climb mountains to see waterfalls in Jiulong Source, eat barbecues and farm dishes in Hengxi Village, and see lakes and mountains. The scenic spot itself is a large open area. If you don't go to Kowloon Source and Monkey Island, you don't have to buy a ticket. The so-called "scenic spot package" includes Monkey Island (including cruise ship), Kowloon Source, and the sightseeing fare from Monkey Island to Kowloon Source. The main entrance is near the cruise terminal from the east to Monkey Island, about 6 kilometers west of Jiulong Source. After entering the scenic spot, first take a boat trip to Monkey Island in the lake at the cruise terminal. Monkey Island has a small area, so you can turn around quickly along the path. There are not many wild monkeys on the island, and the others are kept in cages. But taking a boat is a good experience. The scenery of Jiulong Lake is great. There are amusement parks and ski resorts near the shore pier, where you can have fun at your own expense.

After the tour, take sightseeing bus to Xiangshan Temple and Jiulong Source in the west. Xiangshan Temple is halfway up the mountain, backed by Dapeng Mountain and facing Jiulong Lake. The temple itself has a history of thousands of years. However, the buildings we see today have been rebuilt in recent years and are more magnificent. There are not many tourists in the temple, so you can burn incense and pray in front of Yuantong Temple.

Continue to the west to Jiulong source scenic spot. Jiulong source mainly looks at waterfalls and streams. The air in the mountains is good and the road is not difficult to walk. There are many waterfalls and streams along the way. Climb the mountain along the path and get some fresh air until you get back to Yaochi. Not far from Hengxi Village. There are many barbecues and farmhouses to eat in the village, which is the most concentrated area around and the price is reasonable.
