The 24th Harbin Ice and Snow World will open for trial operation at 12:00 on December 17, and will officially open on December 22.

As the "Crown Pearl of Ice and Snow", Harbin was awarded the "City of Olympic Champions" by the Chinese Olympic Committee in 2022 for five consecutive years. It ranked first among the "Top Ten Ice and Snow Tourism Cities in China" and ranked among the top ten Chinese cities that world tourists yearn for. The natural geographical location and superior climatic conditions have made the city of Harbin closely related to ice and snow. The annual Harbin Ice and Snow Festival is a famous ice and snow event at home and abroad. The Ice and Snow World, Sun Island Snow Expo, Songhua River Ice and Snow Carnival, Yabuli Ski Resort, Phoenix Mountain National Forest Park, Harbin Polar Park and other ice and snow landscapes attract countless enthusiastic tourists.

This year’s Ice and Snow World takes “City of Ice and Snow, Unlimited Creativity” as its theme. It uses ice and snow to show the ice and snow culture and charm of Harbin that has accumulated for 60 years. It is designed based on Harbin’s historical memory and cultural heritage and introduces “ The "ice and snow +" concept combines ornamental value with practicality, and has both aesthetic attributes and entertainment functions.

This year’s landscape plan for the main park uses a two-story system, one large and one small, to integrate profound Chinese culture with international modern style. When you take a Ferris wheel and look down from the air, the entire park looks like a beautiful garland of lilacs, making it more artistic and more visually shocking. The crown of ice and snow in the main tower of the park is made up of 24 icicles gathered upwards, symbolizing the fighting spirit of Harbin people who forge ahead bravely and are unwilling to be left behind. There are 6 icicles in groups, and 4 groups of icicles together form the shape of a crown, which is tall, majestic, sacred and solemn. The overall design of the Dream Stage adopts Chinese elements. The main stage is based on the "Taihe Hall", the core building of the Forbidden City. The century bell in front of the stage is designed as a golden Chinese heart. Using sound and light interactive technology, every time the bell is rung, When the sound is heard, the light will swing out from the center, forming flowing golden light and shadow, which is very shocking.
