Advantages and disadvantages of Mount Fanjing

Mount Fanjing, named after the "Pure Land of Brahma", is located at the junction of Yinjiang, Jiangkou and Songtao (southwest) counties in Tongren City, Guizhou Province, at 27°49 north latitude ′50″—28°1′30″, east longitude 108°45′55″—108°48′30″, close to Yinjiang County, southeast of Jiangkou County, and southwest of Songtao County. It is the main peak of Wuling Mountains and is a Buddhist temple and nature reserve in China. It is located in the middle of Tongren area. [1]

The total area of ??Mount Fanjing is 41,900 square kilometers, including 25,800 square kilometers in the core area, 2,800 square kilometers in the buffer zone, and 13,300 square kilometers in the experimental area. [2] The main protection targets are rare wild animals and plants and native forest ecosystems represented by Guizhou golden monkeys (Rhinopithecus roxellanae brelichi) and Davidia involucrate Baill. The forest coverage rate is 95%, with more than 2,000 species of plants, 31 species of nationally protected plants, 801 species of animals, and 19 species of nationally protected animals. It is known as the "Earth's Oasis", "Animal and Plant Gene Bank", and a valuable heritage of mankind.[ 3]

Fanjing Mountain was rated as a national AAAAA tourist attraction on October 17, 2018, [4] a national nature reserve, [5] on June 30, 2008 China's top ten famous summer resort mountains, [5] China's famous Maitreya Bodhisattva Dojo, [5] a member of the international "Man and the Biosphere Conservation Network" (MAB), [5] and is also a world natural heritage recognized by the 42nd World Heritage Conference.
