Introduction of Kongshan National Forest Park

Kongshan National Forest Park is a national forest park established on the basis of state-owned Kongshan Forest Farm with the approval of the State Forestry Administration in December 24. Kongshan National Forest Park is located in Tongjiang County, Sichuan Province, at the southern edge of the eastern section of Micang Mountain in the northeastern margin of Sichuan Basin, bordering Nanzheng, Xixiang and Zhenba counties in Shaanxi Province. With a total area of 11,511 hectares, the park governs Liujiazhai, Bangziyan, Guabaoyan, Monkey Gorge, Jiaoyuanzi and five scenic spots in Kongshanba. It consists of five major landscapes: landform, biology, humanities, astronomical phenomena and water, with 56 scenic spots, including 5 first-class attractions, 11 second-class attractions, 15 third-class attractions and 24 fourth-class attractions. It is a multifunctional eco-tourism resort in northeast Sichuan, such as eco-sightseeing, summer vacation, enlightenment and education, mountaineering and exploration.
