Where is Zhenyuan ancient town?
Zhenyuan ancient town is located on the banks of Wuyang River, surrounded by mountains. The river twists and turns, passing through the city in an "S" shape, with the old Fucheng on the north bank and the old Acropolis on the south bank. From a distance, it looks like a map of Artest. Both cities were built in the Ming Dynasty, and some city walls and gates still exist. There are a large number of ancient buildings, traditional houses and historical docks inside and outside the city. Qinglong Cave in the east of the city is a group of extremely large-scale religious buildings in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, including both Buddhist temples, Taoist temples and Confucian temples, which are spectacular. In addition, there are tourist attractions such as Tianhou Palace, Wuwangdong, Shiping Mountain and Tiexi along the Wuyang River.
Must-see attractions in Zhenyuan ancient town:
1, Wuyang River
Wuyang River, a national scenic spot, consists of three parts: Wanglongxia, Zhuge Gorge and Xixia, and is known as the Little Three Gorges. The Three Gorges of Wuyang River is the essence of the scenic spot, with a main water length of 35 kilometers, featuring strange gorge, dangerous peak and green water. Yuntai Mountain is located in the upper reaches of Wuyang River, with obvious topographic relief and overlapping peaks, which constitute the karst wonders of Qian Shan Wanhe, and there are also many temple sites and cliff stone carvings. Tiexi is a tributary of Wuyang River, with abundant native vegetation on both sides and strange peaks and rocks standing in the valley.
2. Zhu Sheng Bridge
It's a seven-hole bluestone arch bridge. In the center of the bridge, there is a three-story octagonal pavilion with a pyramid roof, which is called "Zhuangyuan Building" and "Kuixing Pavilion". It is said that ten years after the building was built, Guizhou really produced two champions for the first time.
3. Qinglong Cave
Zhenyuan can not only accept merchants from all directions, but also naturally accommodate different sects and cultures. The intersection of various cultures in the town has created the famous Qinglong Cave, which integrates Buddhist temples, Taoist temples and academies.
Qinglong Cave is the closest ancient architectural complex to the city among the ancient architectural cave communities in China, while maintaining the true colors of landscape gardens. Built on a steep cliff, it is called the three ancient "aerial ancient buildings" in China, together with Maiji Mountain in Gansu, Hanging Temple in Shanxi and Guizhou Ancient Architecture Museum.

Guizhou is known as "the archway of Anshun and the wall of Zhenning". In fact, Zhenyuan's ancient Ming city wall is no less than Zhenning.

Fucheng stands at the top of Shiping Mountain, with a total length of1.5 km; Weicheng spans Wulaoshan in the south and Wuyang River in the north, with a total length of 3 kilometers. Wuyang River has become a natural moat for the government and Weifang, making Zhenyuan ancient city more magnificent. Even today, local people are still used to calling Wuyang in Hebei as "Fucheng" and Wuyang in Henan as "Acropolis".
5. censer stone
It is a protruding boulder in front of the cliff in Qinglong Cave and beside the Wuyang River. It is wide at the top and narrow at the bottom, and looks like a censer, hence the name. Li Liejun, a famous soldier in his early years, used to fish here when he was stationed in Zhenyuan.

Ziyang Cave, also known as Jiangxi Guild Hall, is one of the eight guilds in Zhenyuan. Including memorial archway, Shikumen, front yard theater, etc. Among them, two brick carvings are worth mentioning.
