1. Three Lanes and Seven Alleys?
Three Lanes and Seven Alleys is a national 5A tourist attraction. It is one of the historical blocks that survived the demolition and construction in the old city of Fuzhou after the founding of the People's Republic of China. one. It is the source of history, the root of culture, and the place where Fuzhou’s cultural heritage flourishes.
Since the formation of the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys in the Jin and Tang Dynasties, it has been a gathering place for nobles and scholar-bureaucrats, and it has reached glory from the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China. There are about 270 ancient dwellings in the area, and 159 are listed as protected buildings. The ancient building complex of Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, represented by nine typical buildings including Shen Baozhen's Former Residence, Lin Juemin's Former Residence, and Yan Fu's Former Residence, has been announced by the State Council as a national key cultural relics protection unit.
2. Nanhou Street
Fuzhou Nanhou Street starts from the Daming intersection of Yangqiao East Road in the north and ends at the intersection of Jipi Lane and Macao Road in the south. The total length is about 1,000 meters. It is the central axis of the "Three Lanes and Seven Alleys" in Fuzhou City. It has seven lanes on the east side and three lanes on the west side. It was the main commercial street of Fuzhou Three Lanes and Seven Lanes from the rise of the Three Lanes and Seven Lanes to the Republic of China. 3. Minjiang River
Minjiang River is the largest river that flows alone into the sea (East China Sea) in Fujian Province, China. Originated from Junkou Town, Jianning County, at the junction of Fujian and Jiangxi. The three main tributaries of Jianxi, Futunxi and Shaxi merge near Yanping District of Nanping and are called Minjiang River.
It passes through the coastal mountains to Nantai Island in Fuzhou City and is divided into north and south branches. It merges into one at Luoxing Pagoda, then turns northeast and flows out of Langqi Island into the East China Sea. With Shaxi as its main source, it has a total length of 562 kilometers and a drainage area of ??60,992 square kilometers, accounting for about half of the area of ??Fujian Province.
4. Guling
Guling is a summer resort located in Huanxi Town, Jin'an District, Fuzhou. It was opened by Western missionaries in 1886. It is about 13 kilometers away from the center of Fuzhou and has a high mountain. It is more than 800 meters high and the maximum temperature in summer does not exceed 30℃, attracting many Westerners who cannot tolerate Fuzhou's heat. In 1935, there were more than 200 summer villas of different styles, as well as public buildings such as churches, hospitals, tennis courts, swimming pools, and the Universal Welfare Society.
Yu Dafu came here to escape the summer heat in the 1930s. It is another influential summer resort besides Guling Mountain in Lushan Mountain in Jiangxi Province, Mogan Mountain in Zhejiang Province, and Jigong Mountain in Henan Province. In January 2016, the National Tourism Administration and the Ministry of Environmental Protection planned to identify Guling Ecotourism Zone in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province as a national ecotourism demonstration zone.
5. Jiangbin Park
Jiangbin Park in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province is a large-scale riverside garden landscape built by the Fuzhou Municipal Government with a huge investment. It is built along the Min River and is divided into north and south. The two parks, with a total length of about 10.5 kilometers, are the longest urban riverside parks in China.
The total area of ??the park is about 103 hectares (about 1545 acres), with the east and west gardens facing each other across the river. The two gardens have different styles. The south garden of Jiangbin Park is located on the south bank of the Minjiang River. It has moonlight over the lotus pond, leisurely mood by the river, dreamland, children's paradise, ten-mile flower path, Huaxiang Square, Hongtang Ancient Ferry, and sun-soaked coconut breeze.
