Is frost a weather phenomenon?

Frost is not a weather phenomenon. Frost is a common agrometeorological disaster, which means that the temperature drops suddenly and the surface temperature drops below 0℃, causing damage to crops and even death. Frost usually appears in autumn, winter and spring. Frost, frost and first frost are three different concepts. Frost refers to the white ice crystals formed by the condensation of water vapor on the ground when it meets cold. Frost refers to the common phenomenon of agricultural meteorological disasters, and the first frost refers to the festival that reflects the sudden drop of temperature.

Types of frost: 1, spring frost, also known as late frost, which occurs at the seedling stage of spring sowing crops, the flowering stage of fruit trees and after the overwintering crops turn green. With the increase of temperature, the frequency and intensity of late frost gradually decrease, but the later it appears, the greater the harm to crops.

2. Autumn frost, also known as early frost, occurs when the autumn harvest crops are immature and the vegetables in the open field are not harvested. As the season goes on, the frequency and intensity of autumn frost increase gradually.
