What is the "front" of the weather in geography?

Frontal: a narrow transition area formed by the meeting of two air masses with very different temperatures or densities, which is called frontal. Frontal is a weather system occupying three-dimensional space. There are obvious differences in meteorological elements such as temperature, humidity, air pressure, wind and clouds on both sides of the front. The greater the slope of the front, the more severe the weather changes. According to the substitution of cold and warm air masses during the front movement, it can be divided into four types: cold front, warm front, quasi-static front and blocking front.
