Danxia weather in Zhangye

China is the country with the widest distribution of Danxia in the world, from Danxia in Guangdong to Chishui in Guizhou, Taining in Fujian, Longhushan in Jiangxi, Jiang Lang in Zhejiang and so on. After hundreds of billions of years, these geological landscapes with strange shapes and spectacular scenes have formed a magnificent scene, which was created by the ingenuity of nature and discovered by people who are good at discovering beauty.

Danxia landform at the northern foot of Qilian Mountain in Gansu Province is one of the regions with the largest Danxia landform development and the richest landform modeling in China. It is also the only composite area of Danxia landform and colorful hills in China, which mainly includes rare geological landscapes such as Danxia and colorful hills in ice ditch.

About their formation, it can be traced back to the distant pre-Jurassic to Tertiary 2 million years. After a long period of weathering and peeling, flowing water erosion and sparse vegetation, isolated peaks and steep rocks have gradually formed, showing today's more striking vermilion and reddish brown, which is also the origin of the word "Danxia".

Zhangye Danxia Geopark covers an area of about 50 square kilometers. Magnificent red gravel or stalwart, graceful or uninhibited, shows people the wonders of nature. Spectacular scenes and strange shapes make people feel a unique desolation and grandeur in the west.

If you catch up with the fine weather with blue sky and white clouds, there are seven unique Danxia forms, such as lattice uterus column and honeycomb, especially lattice palace Danxia, which is the highest in the country. Under the vast sky, the red mountain rock wall is steep and changeable. Here, as long as you use your imagination enough, you can see different things from different angles, all kinds of shapes are varied, vivid and varied.

Take a "rainbow chariot" to the hinterland of Danxia in the ice ditch for a small adventure. You can also choose to ride a camel. The valley echoed with the sound of camel bells. For thousands of years, how many camel teams have walked on the vast Gobi stall in the northwest, following the footsteps of our predecessors and starting our journey to the west. The road ahead is long, and what awaits us is an unknown surprise.

Zhang Ye Binggou Danxia has been given too much fame. Chinese national geography magazine once rated it as one of the "seven most beautiful Danxia landforms in China" and one of the "25 dream travel destinations in China". It is also a photographer's paradise, where many film and television dramas are filmed, such as Hexi Corridor, Detective De Renjie 3, Legend of the Western Regions and so on.

It is said that "from the side of the ridge, the height varies". Walking in this ice ditch of Danxia, the vertical height ranges from 1 1,500 m to 2,550m, the scenic spot is about 40km long from east to west and 5- 10km wide from north to south. At present, only one third of the development area is Wang Yang Sea. With the crustal movement and orogeny, the crust gradually swelled and was submerged by seawater.

Danxia in the ice ditch is mainly composed of two parts, one is a small western paradise, but a big western paradise. As the name implies, the western world is more magnificent than the western world. Xiaoxitian can be closer to the mountain, and the scenery such as welcoming the sacred camel, watching the summer with golden toad, Yingtouyan, Qilian torch and Xuanwu Gate is endowed with interesting stories by imaginative people, telling the legendary story of Danxia in the ice ditch.
