Holy Land Litang: It's not just Ding Zhen!

"Crane, please lend me your wings. Don't fly too far. Just go back to Litang!"

My first acquaintance with Litang began with a poem by Cangyang Jiacuo. Re-understanding Litang began with Ding Zhen, a traffic student in Network Celebrity.

The real trip is to start at once: in the midsummer of July 20 18, I trudged all the way to Litang, in the charming grassland scenery, in the quiet Tibetan village, in the quiet Buddhist holy temple, and in the bright embrace of the holy mountain, in pursuit of the holy land longed for in Cangyang Jiacuo's poems.

Litang, located in the southwest of Ganzi, Sichuan, is 40 14 meters above sea level and is known as the "highest city in the world". Because of its magnificent grassland scenery, clear and dust-free snowy peaks and famous Buddhist temples in the county, it has a long-standing reputation and attracted countless tourists.

Speaking of litang, I have to mention the mountain of monsters. This sacred mountain hidden deep in the mountains of western Sichuan is more aloof than Gongga Snow Mountain and more magnificent than Siguniang Mountain. It is the last secret of Sichuan Snow Mountain. Monster Mountain is the third peak in Sichuan and the first peak in Kangnan. It is the sacred mountain in the hearts of Tibetan compatriots, the thirteenth goddess among the 24 sacred mountains of Tibetan Buddhism, and is also known as the "Holy Land of Victory over King Kong" with the Himalayas. Around the main peak, eight main ditches, Lenglong, Reti, Cameroonian, Curry, Hari, Zhongna, Zhongga and Xiaozha, radiate from the heart of Shenni Mountain, just like saussurea involucrata with eight petals blooming on the western Sichuan Plateau. Over time, Shenguaishan sticks to the endless river of years, accepts the worship of devout believers and tourists, but is not disturbed by the noise of the outside world.

Although July is the rainy season for elves, our trip is extremely lucky. We set out from Litang County, passed Lama Cliff, Xia Ze Tongcun and Naiqianduo Village, arrived at Hupiba to camp, then set out from Hupiba, passed through Xiaozhagou, Lenggu Temple, Gemu Village, Batang and Cuopu Township to Maoya Prairie, and returned to Litang along the 3 18 line for more than a few hundred kilometers. Occasionally, a dark cloud covers the top, and it rains cats and dogs, or a Mao Mao rain comes with the night breeze, just like the seasoning of the journey, which makes tourists feel the changeable weather and endless scenery of the holy mountain, adding a little awe to this sacred place.

Snow-capped mountains, forests, grasslands, lakes, streams, monasteries, Tibetan villages, cattle, wild flowers ... In the midsummer of July, every inch of the road when the wheels move is a fascinating picture, which shocks the eyes and nourishes the soul. Drive to the hinterland of Shenshan, find an excellent place to camp at the foot of the main peak of Shenshan, and then enjoy the quiet beauty of this sacred place: look up at the snow-capped mountains, look around the trees, bend over to enjoy the flowers, listen to the streams ... There is a sense of hierarchy between the scenery and the scenery.

In such exquisiteness, or riding a fine horse, galloping on the flowery plateau grassland, it is full of heroic spirit; Or accompanied by three or five, along the winding stream, following the prayer flags dancing with the wind, go to Lenggu Temple to worship and accept spiritual purification; Or, have a picnic on the plateau meadow surrounded by mountains and streams, and taste the Jiugongge in the mountain city, local chicken soup and sweet corn ... Travel and life will be completed in this rich and fragrant chicken soup, spicy and delicious hot pot, sweet corn and heroic horse riding.

At night, Mount Ganni is another scene, with a breezy breeze and stars all over the sky ... A group of friends from all corners of the country and local herders danced around the bonfire and enjoyed the bright fireworks and twinkling stars. At that moment, we all became happy children. All trapped souls have also been liberated, integrated with the spirit of the holy mountain, and danced freely at the top of the plateau and at the foot of the holy mountain. If you don't like the noise at night, it doesn't matter. You can drink a glass of red wine, nest in a tent and watch an interesting outdoor movie to add a little romance to the hard cross-country trip ... everyone is asleep, the night is deep and everything is quiet. Between heaven and earth, in addition to mountains and plateaus, there are only these souls who pursue freedom.

In Litang, the Maoya Prairie is the same as Shenguai Mountain. Litang, which means "grass dam as flat as a bronze mirror" in Tibetan, is an endless Maoya prairie. Maoya Prairie has been selected as one of the most beautiful and wild grasslands in China because of its magnificent scenery, and Litang is located on the grassland.

The Maoya Prairie in midsummer is a good time for flowers. High, clear Wan Li, white clouds floating; In the distance, mountains and rivers meander; There are green grasslands and flocks of cattle and sheep nearby ... although it is not as vast as Hulunbeier grassland, it is close to green mountains, snow peaks, white clouds, blue sky and streams, and it is refined and smart. Dozens of kilometers of green grassland are dotted with all kinds of wild flowers and scattered tents and yurts, and cattle are leisurely walking and grazing on the grassland. In the morning, the smoke from the herdsmen's kitchen goes straight into the sky, mixing with the light fog rising from the grassland, just like a dream, showing the beauty of three-dimensional layering ... You can hold mountains, grasslands and streams in your arms with open arms and feel the vastness of the world and the breadth of your mind; You can also playfully kiss and roll with the earth and wild flowers like a child to earn the fragrance of wild flowers.

The beauty of Litang is far more than nature. The rich humanistic atmosphere makes the city more aura, such as the famous Changqing Cole Temple (also known as Litang Temple) in Tibetan areas. Changqingke Temple, with its magnificent architecture, dazzling array of instruments, various Buddha statues, exquisite sculptures and vast literature collections, has become a treasure house of religion, culture and art in Tibet today. This ancient temple, founded by the third Lama Sonan Gyatso during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty (1580), is one of the oldest and largest Tibetan Buddhist temples in Kangqu.

The Youth Cole Temple was originally an important node of this summer trip. Unfortunately, due to the sudden distress of an off-road vehicle, we had to return early and missed the opportunity to explore the rich culture of this ancient temple. Perhaps the regret left is the fate of coming again next time. Look forward to it. Goodbye Litang!
