When we use electricity in lightning weather

What should be paid attention to in lightning weather mainly includes the following points:

Precautions for indoor electricity use:

First: check the wiring and replace the aging wiring in time. Check whether the leakage protection switch and other electrical appliances work normally and whether the neutral wire or grounding wire falls off. If you find any problem, please find a professional to repair it in time.

Second, don't take a bath with a solar water heater. Solar water heaters are basically installed on the roof, which is easy to cause lightning strikes. Colleagues should not touch metal objects such as gas pipes and water pipes.

Third: try not to use mobile phones. Be careful to use limited wireless phones and computers. Thunderstorm weather, when answering the phone, the electromagnetic wave signal of the mobile phone is strong, which is easy to cause "induction lightning".

Fourth: Unplug the power plug. Don't turn on the TV, computer, vcd and other household appliances, unplug the power plug, so as not to strike the merchants and damage the appliances. When water enters the house, turn off the main power switch to prevent electrical equipment from leaking.

Outdoor precautions:

First: don't take shelter from the rain under the transformer. There is a strong wind in a thunderstorm, which may break overhead wires. Lightning strike and rainstorm are easy to cause bare wires or short-circuit discharge of transformers, which poses a threat to personal safety. Try to stay away from power poles, transformers, distribution boxes and other electrical equipment in thunderstorm days.

Second: don't stay or shelter from the rain near the tall tree billboards and street lamps of the transformer. Thunderstorm weather is usually accompanied by strong winds, and it is easy to break branches or knock down billboards. Once the nearby wire is broken, human contact is prone to electric shock accidents. At the same time, stay away from neon lights, traffic lights, lampposts, etc. It is easy to leak after soaking in water.

Third: don't go to stagnant water. If you need to drip water, first observe whether there are wires falling in the accumulated water. If there are wires, mark them around immediately to prevent others from approaching, and call the local power supply service hotline to inform the power supply personnel to handle them.

Fourth: don't go near telephone poles or cable-stayed wires. The upper wire of the cable-stayed wire is very close. In thunderstorm weather, the cable-stayed wire may be charged, and the pole is prone to leakage.

Fifth: if you find someone getting an electric shock, don't rush to help. First, use an insulating tool to open the wire. Don't save people with your bare hands. Do not use wet tools or metal objects to open the wires. At the same time, call 120 ambulance personnel for on-site rescue.

Sixth: If the wire falls near you, don't panic. At this time, you should jump on one leg or together and leave the scene 8 meters away. You can't stride, or you will get an electric shock easily.
