Whenever I think of this sentence, I often think of a beautiful picture of a young girl dancing in the desert in a long red dress with long hair reaching her waist. Love is like a flood, tears are like a spring, and they are deeply immersed in the vast desert. The vast flowing sand sea is like waiting for a group of spoony people to help people get rid of pain and relieve anxiety.

If the first meeting in Tengger for four days and three nights symbolizes the scattered stars in May of 1 year, just like the gathering of heroes in the water margin to form a raging fire, then the second day of the activity, that is, May 2, is the first expedition after everyone assembled, and we are firmly moving forward towards the goal of "first meeting in the desert, dreaming of silk roads and walking to the limit". Endless desert, majestic and broad Tengger, here we come!

According to the requirements of the first day of the mobilization meeting, on May 2, everyone got up at six o'clock in the morning, had breakfast at seven o'clock, and set off from the Yellow River Pearl Hotel at half past seven on time. In view of the large number of people on this trip, and most of the partners are coming to Tengger for the first time, or even to the desert for the first time, the tour leader told everyone to walk lightly, and the heavy equipment can be stored in the hotel or directly transported to the campsite by vehicle. So, with full expectations, everyone rearranged their luggage according to the requirements of the team leader, boarded the vehicles belonging to their respective groups, and Tengger officially set off.

The vehicle started from Yinchuan, set off leisurely, crossed Helan Mountain, drove for about three hours, and gradually entered Zuoqi territory of Alashan League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. After following the vehicle for nearly two kilometers, the vehicle stopped on a sandy grassland, which belongs to the edge of Tengger Desert. After getting off the bus, we mainly did three things. First, according to the luggage tag distributed by the team leader in advance, as well as a group of orange ribbons and two groups of green ribbons, everyone will tie their luggage tag and ribbon in turn, and put them in the designated area for heavy equipment that does not need to walk temporarily, waiting for the staff to transport them to the campsite at night; Second, everyone packed their equipment and went into battle lightly. Everything is ready. According to the leader's request, we set out in a single file for Tengger Desert. Following the pace of the team leader, our group waded through the sandy grassland and climbed slowly along the sand dunes. Before we walked dozens of steps, a sea of sand appeared before our eyes. The endless desert is like a yellow sea, and the sun shines on it, which is extremely dazzling. Facing the vast desert, even if it is still outside its marginal zone, you can still see its ups and downs and magnificence. Seeing the majesty of the desert, while admiring the splendor of nature, we deeply feel that each of us suddenly seems so insignificant during our stay. Walking up the sand dune ramp, you come to a sandy road in Ma Pingchuan, and the scene in front of you is even more breathtaking. Look, the only way to walk, not far away stands a red welcoming arch about three meters high. Above the arch, five big white characters "First Meeting Tengger singer" were written impressively. Looking down the path of the archway, I saw dozens of yellow flags on both sides of the road that read "Meeting Tengger for the first time", which was far away from us and formed a splendid and different welcoming runway. On the track we just arrived, there is a stereo and a big drum on the left. Under the rendering of the desert, the sound and drums are particularly harmonious and solemn, which also makes us feel different western customs. Look at the right side, an off-road vehicle is parked, and the rope of the arch is tied to one side of the body. Presumably, vehicles are used to pull the surrounding objects and make the welcome arch more solid and straight in the desert sand.

Sometimes it seems that the monotonous life is repeated again, and it is often necessary to add a little passionate ritual. For us who came to Tengger for the first time, when we saw the red welcoming arch in front of us, we sincerely admired the unique ceremony created by the security team of "First Meeting Tengger". Our group of people lined up in two rows in the order of two team members, facing the arch. The team leader strode to the center of the arch, and first congratulated us on starting a fantastic life journey. At the same time, the tour leader told us that there were many negative emotions such as sadness, regret and sadness besides surprise, joy and joy in the following hiking in the desert. Don't be afraid, believe in yourself, follow the team leader closely on the way forward, and we will gain a brand-new self along the way. When the tour guide was introducing the Tengger Desert to us, the climax of the ceremony of "seeing Tengger for the first time" slowly began.

Just as the team leader was talking loudly, there were about three or five people carrying a wine table and putting it in the middle between us and the team leader. On the wine table, there are nearly a hundred wine bowls neatly placed, and each wine bowl is filled with a bowl of wine. The team leader held up a glass of wine and told each of us to pick up a glass of wine to drink. In the unknown journey, we will cut through the thorns together. Facing the fantastic welcoming ceremony in the vast desert, we picked up the wine bowl and drank a bowl with a slight breeze. Wine is not intoxicating, but fruit wine. * * * After drinking fruit wine, our party embarked on a slow and long road to conquer Tengger. About a kilometer after departure, we crossed a sand dune, and the team leader took us to a wide sand ridge and started the most important link before the exercise-warm-up. After the warm-up activities, everyone reshaped their makeup and faced the endless desert, and the hiking trip was ready to go.

The weather forecast on May 2 shows that Tengger Desert will turn sunny to cloudy with a breeze, which is very suitable for galloping in the desert. When we officially set sail, it was noon 10. Under the scorching sun, a heat wave rises in the desert, making it difficult to breathe. Look, the vast desert, the dead sand sea. The majestic and quiet appearance always gives people a monotonous yellow, and it is the kind of scorching yellow, as if nature instantly solidified the turbulent waves and the evacuated angry waves here and made it stand still forever. Following the leader's footsteps, our party galloped in the desert, over a mountain and a corner. Gradually, the initial excitement and ecstasy, accompanied by the dust all over the sky and the unknown road ahead, made people gradually forget the original goal of hiking in Tengger, and even many negative emotions such as regret, sadness and hatred were endless.

Due to the large number of people and children, our team stretches for several kilometers. So the team leader adjusted the rhythm in time to ensure that the team could keep up and gave our team a little rest and buffer. Take a break and move on. "The desert is lonely and straight, and the long river sets the yen", standing on the sand mountain overlooking the bottom, below the rolling sand mountain is a lush forest dotted with flowers and a different kind of sand sea. The sand sea stretching into the sky is dotted with willows, which injects vitality into the originally silent sand sea. Salix psammophila, with its tenacious perseverance, deeply rooted its roots in the sand, reaching tens of meters to the place where there is water.

Tengger Desert is a magical place, and nature has paved it into a yellow carpet. As soon as the wind blows, it seems that someone mentioned that the carpet was shaking and raised dust all over the sky. In the desert of Wan Li, which was originally clear, the weather changed with the dust rising. From a sunny breeze to a cloudy gale, there was a little Mao Mao rain on the basis of the cloudy gale. A gust of wind rolled up tens of meters of sand and flew in the desert. The sky is dark, like a dragon roaring, and the magical Tengger constantly challenges our perseverance. The prospect of the desert and the visual feast are good for my feelings. The smell of the wilderness opened the seven orifices of claustrophobia, which made me feel refreshed, to think about my long-term depression, and to experience the body that can only be perceived when I was placed in my birthplace.

In this way, we trudged in the desert for about five hours, followed the leader's footsteps, and gradually found a shining green belt not far away. On the one hand, it is an endless desert, and nothing grows, which makes people desperate; On the other side, the waves are rippling and the vegetation is lush, which is a vibrant scene. The tour guide told us that this oasis is called "Swan Lake" and is also the location of the overnight camp. Swan Lake is surrounded by a majestic and vast desert, with undulating sand dunes and rolling sand waves. Surrounded by trees by the lake, sand dunes, lakes and trees in the desert set each other off, which also makes people forget the fatigue of the journey for a while. Arriving at Swan Lake also marks the official end of the first day of hiking on May 2, with a journey of about five hours and a mileage of about 14 km.

The camp was placed on a huge sand dune beside Swan Lake, and ten tents nearly two meters high were fixed by a truck, which constituted the main part of the camp. Around the ten tents, there are functional areas such as camping area, washing area, luggage area and dining area. Arriving at the camp does not mean the end of the desert trip that day. Next, the team leader will lead everyone to do stretching exercises after exercise to avoid relaxing the next day. After that, tents, damp-proof mats and sleeping bags were distributed. Under the guidance of the team leader, everyone chooses the location of the tent, sets up the tent and fixes the tent. Everyone took lunch boxes and walked into ten big tents in turn. First of all, a variety of local fresh fruits were placed. After a short taste of fruit, there are many steaming western specialties at the top of the table, and you can feel different desert customs in the sand and dust with delicious rice. The end of a good meal does not mean the end of a day's trip. After dinner, as night fell, Tengger singer also put on a light blue weft, which was beautiful and quiet.

After waiting for an hour, the barbecue is ready. The Big Dipper, bright or dark, the North Star, shines like a star. Under the starry sky, walking in the desert and tired body seem so quiet and clear. If hiking in the desert is an exercise, then we must not let life bind our bodies, let alone our hearts. Lying in a tent, full of novelty, the desert trip has set sail, and the spiritual journey continues the next day.
