What is the reason why the gloss of furniture paint drops and the paint film feels bad? Recently, the weather is hot, and this problem often occurs in furniture factories.

1. Primer and topcoat are not matched, such as negative primer and waterborne wood paint;

2. Apply topcoat if the primer is not dry, or if it is too thick and not dry, the leveling property is not good;

3. The drying speed of primer and topcoat thinner is different, and the dissolution speed of topcoat is too strong;

4. Incompatibility of curing agent leads to the decrease of gloss and poor hand feeling of paint film. For example, there is no original curing agent, the solid content of curing agent is too low, and the bright curing agent and matte curing agent do not match, which will lead to the decrease of gloss and dry paint film!

In summer, the temperature is very high, even if it is higher than 30 degrees, a proper amount of slow-drying water should be added to reduce the drying and volatilization speed, so as to ensure the normal leveling and dissolving viscosity of the topcoat, thus ensuring that the paint film data and feel are not affected.
