Lugu Lake, known as the "Pearl of the Plateau", is the hometown of Mosuo people. The daughter country and Mosuo culture are covered with a mysterious veil here. There are many small islands scattered on Lugu Lake with beautiful scenery. Here, you can take a pig trough boat across the lake, watch the beautiful Mosuo girls dance, listen to the beautiful songs of Mosuo people, watch the sunrise and sunset and live a happy life. Lugu Lake can mainly visit Li Ge Island, Caohai, Lovers Tree, Wedding Bridge and other scenic spots. In addition, Zhaojiawan and Nisai Village have beautiful scenery. To fully appreciate the beauty of Lugu Lake, you need to look at it with your eyes and feel it with your heart.

Most people living by the lake are Mosuo people who believe in Tibetan Buddhism. Nimadui and Baita can be seen everywhere here. On a clear day, Lugu Lake is as beautiful as a blue sapphire embedded in a green hill. When you first see it, you will marvel at its beauty.

Transportation: Lugu Lake is about 250 kilometers away from Old Town of Lijiang, and it takes 5-6 hours by car. Travel shuttle bus to and from 160 yuan, which is sold in general inns.

Admission: 78 yuan +3 yuan Insurance. When you buy a ticket, you will be given a small CD introducing the natural landscape and matriarchal society and culture of Lugu Lake.

Tour time: 2-3 days. If you want to visit Lugu Lake in depth, it is recommended to stay in Lugu Lake for 7-8 days.

Tip: Lugu Lake has a large temperature difference in the morning and evening, so it is best to bring a thin coat. Due to the changeable weather and strong ultraviolet rays in the plateau, it is recommended to bring sunglasses, sunscreen and umbrella.

2. Yulong Snow Mountain in Dayulong Scenic Area is a sacred mountain in the minds of Naxi and Lijiang nationalities. Although the main peak is only 5600 meters above sea level, it has not been conquered by human beings so far. Dayulong Scenic Area is a major scenic spot with Yulong Snow Mountain as its main attraction. Tourist attractions mainly include the Grand Cableway, Maoniuping (middle cableway), Yunshan Ping (small cableway), Blue Moon Valley, Ganhaizi, Dongba Valley, Yushui Village, Dongba Wanshen Garden and Zhang Yimou Impression Lijiang. You can choose some sightseeing projects according to your needs for one day.

Tickets: Dayulong Scenic Spot Pass 190 yuan (need to show the bill of ancient city maintenance fee), Yushuizhai, 50 yuan.

Transportation: Yulong Snow Mountain is 30 kilometers away from Dayan Ancient Town, and you can go there by chartered bus. If you charter a car, you can go back and forth around 120 yuan, and you can take up to 6 people.

3. After flowing through the first bay of the Yangtze River in Shigu Town, Tiger Leaping Gorge Jinsha River suddenly turned north and squeezed through the gap between Haba Snow Mountain and Yulong Snow Mountain, forming the most spectacular grand canyon in the world.

Tiger leaping gorge is divided into three sections: upper tiger leaping, middle tiger leaping and lower tiger leaping. There is a 18 shoal, of which Shanghuyue is the narrowest section, and the river is only 100 meters wide. There is a huge stone in the middle of the river called Tiger Jumping Stone. The sound of the river colliding with the boulder resounded through the valley, and the momentum was extraordinary!

On the way to Tiger Leap, you can go to Shangri-La Xionggu Scenic Area, which is free. From the observation deck of the scenic spot, you can watch Yulong Snow Mountain and Haba Snow Mountain and the Jinshan River flowing through the two snowfields at the same time.

Admission: 50 yuan.

Transportation: 80 kilometers from Old Town of Lijiang. It's about three hours' drive, and then an hour's walk will lead to Tiger Leaping. The cost of chartered car is around 250 yuan, and it can be returned on the same day.

Alternatively, you can take the bus (25 yuan), get off at the bridgehead, and then walk 10 minutes to the ticket office of Shanghu Ticket. If you want to jump the tiger, you must hire another car, because the jumping tiger is located at the border of Shangri-La, and you need to change trains at the junction of Lijiang and Shangri-La.

4. Shigu Town

This is a small town near Jinsha River, named after a drum-shaped stone tablet carved with white marble. Shigu has always been an important trading place for Tibetan and Han people, and now it is very lively if you meet a street (market).

Tickets: there are no tickets to enter the town.

Transportation: There are shuttle buses in Lijiang every day, among which the shuttle buses to Jinzhuang, Liming and Judian Tacheng all pass through Shigu, and the journey takes about 2 hours. The fare is 15 yuan. You can also arrange to play with the chartered tour of Tiger Leaping Gorge at dawn.

5. Shuhe Ancient Town Shuhe Ancient Town is a more quiet and beautiful place than Old Town of Lijiang, and the time spent there is also leisurely and soft. It is one of the earliest settlements of Naxi ancestors in Lijiang Bazi and an important well-preserved market town on the ancient tea-horse road. Shuhe River is not big, but the inns, bars and restaurants here are also complete. It is a small ancient town.

Tickets: 50 yuan, if it is the off-season, it is basically easy to evade tickets. You can also go in through Yuerongzhuang Road. Generally, there is no doorman. However, during the golden week and summer vacation, the investigation may be more rigorous.

Transportation: Take a taxi from Lijiang to 20 yuan (6 km), which takes 15 minutes.

Tour time: 3-6 hours. You can take a bus or scenic bus in Lijiang, or you can drive there. If you want to experience Shuhe more deeply, you can also stay here for one night and feel the unique style of Shuhe.

6. Yuhu Village (Song Xue Cun) introduced the Lijiang River to Locke, the first man in the world, and finished many of his works here.

Yuhu Village is named after the local lake "Yuhu", which is called "uruk" in Naxi language, which means "at the foot of snow-capped mountains". Yuhu Village also has a Han name "Song Xue Cun" because of the Yulong Mountain next to it.

Tickets: You don't need tickets to enter the village, and Yuhu doesn't accept tickets. Locke's former residence 15 yuan/person, Yuzhu Qingtian 25 yuan/person, with half price for students with certificates.

Transportation: Song Xue Cun (Yuhu Village) is 0/0 km away from Dayan Town/KLOC. There is no shuttle bus to the scenic spot in downtown Lijiang, so you can charter a bus. You can also take a tourist bus to Yulong Snow Mountain Scenic Area at Red Sun Square in Lijiang New Town, get off at the ticket gate of Snow Mountain and walk there.

7. The first bay of the Yangtze River is very famous. The Yangtze River runs down from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and enters Yunnan. Together with Lancang River and Nujiang River, it runs through the deep valleys of Hengduan Mountains, forming a magnificent landscape of "Three Parallel Rivers". When I arrived here, the Yangtze River suddenly turned sharply. "Rivers turn here and flow into the Central Plains to broaden their horizons." People call this world wonder "the first bay of the Yangtze River".

Tickets: 2 yuan, Rafting Line A 168 yuan, Line B 168 yuan, Line C 128 yuan.

Transportation: From Lijiang County Passenger Station, you can take the shuttle bus directly to Shigu Town, and tourists can take the county shuttle bus to Shigu Town to the first bay of the Yangtze River.

8. Baoshan Stone City This is a legend that 108 family lives on a natural boulder with an area of only 0.5 square kilometers.

When Lijiang was gradually submerged by more and more merchants, the life and costumes of the Naxi people here were authentic and almost lost, which was very valuable.

As far as topography is concerned, Stone Town in Baoshan is surrounded by cliffs on three sides, with a stone slope leading directly to Jinsha River, and only two stone gates in the north and south are available for access. This is a real natural barrier city.

Tickets: There are no tickets.

Transportation: Take the country bus in Lijiang for about 3 hours, and the fare is 20-30 yuan. You need to walk for half an hour to get to the scenic spot after getting off the bus. You can also go by chartered bus.

9. Laojun Mountain Laojun Mountain spans 4 counties, 4 cities and 4 counties. The place where ordinary tourists go is the U-shaped valley under the main peak of Laojun Mountain. Because the valley is shaped like an alchemy furnace of Taishang Laojun, it is named Laojun Mountain. The best time to come to Laojun Mountain is May and June, when the azaleas will bloom all over the mountain and decorate the whole mountain beautifully.

Laojun Mountain is also a paradise for hikers. It needs professional equipment and can hire experienced locals as guides.

Admission: 80 yuan.

Transportation: 0/30 km from Lijiang/Kloc. There is no shuttle bus, so we can only go by chartered bus.
