Five Thoughts on Primary School English after Class

Primary school is the initial stage of people's formal education and an important part of basic education, in which English teaching is an important part. The following are five reflections on primary school English after class that I collected for you. I hope you like them.

Reflection on primary school English after class: Fan

English Curriculum Standard points out that the goal of English curriculum in basic education stage is to cultivate students' comprehensive English language application ability on the basis of developing students' language skills, language knowledge, emotional attitudes, learning strategies and cultural awareness. Advocate task-based teaching mode, so that under the guidance of teachers, students can realize the goal of tasks and feel successful through perception, experience, practice, participation and cooperation. Adjust emotions and strategies in the learning process, so as to form a positive learning attitude and promote the improvement of language practical application ability.

Through the study and understanding of Curriculum Standards, as well as the analysis of students and the teaching materials of this course, what does the teacher say in Weather Forecast? In the teaching activities of the first lesson, the following points were emphasized:

1. Give students the initiative to learn.

In the teaching of this class, the teacher first asks each student to use sentence patterns. I'm going … if so … this Sunday to choose what he wants to do. Then the students discuss in groups. What are you going to do this Sunday? I will ... If necessary ... Shall we go together? Change sentence patterns and make plans. After that, combined with the weather conditions, shall we go to ... What does the weather forecast say? Modify the plan again. Finally, combine the weather forecast to make the schedule for next week.

This series of activities creates conditions for students to design interesting activities themselves. They think, discuss, investigate, communicate and cooperate as "masters" in the activities, and independently complete the task of "making a class schedule".

2. Cultivate students' comprehensive language use ability through task-based communication activities.

In this lesson, the teacher designed a clear teaching task of "making a class schedule" and gave students the initiative to complete the task. Students constantly revise and improve the curriculum according to personal preferences, group communication and weather conditions. When inviting others to spend the weekend, the plans of the inviter and the invitee will inevitably conflict, and the plans made in advance may also change because of the weather. Students need to use language to communicate and complete tasks, and communicative expressions such as "weather, invitation, planning to do something" that need to be reviewed, consolidated and mastered in this class will naturally blend in. This is in line with the "Curriculum Standards" that "activities should encourage students to acquire, process and use information, communicate with others in English, and develop their ability to solve practical problems in English". In addition, task-based teaching cannot be confined to the classroom, so teachers also ask students to continue to complete the task of making a "schedule for next week" after class, and extend task-based teaching to study and life outside the classroom.

3. The main "task" is given priority to, and the secondary "activity" is supplemented.

As an important teaching method, task-based teaching is not unique. Therefore, teachers also designed some other activities to assist teaching. Word guessing is an example. Instead of using the old method of showing word cards directly and reading them aloud by the whole class, the teacher reviewed the words in groups of four students, wrote them on paper and put them in envelopes for a quiz. Consciously stimulate students' existing learning experience and guide students to learn independently. Students' group activities, teachers regard the level differences between students as favorable learning resources, guide students to help each other, and truly realize the communicative function of group activities.

4. Use modern educational technology to broaden the channels for students to learn and use English.

Modern educational technology, especially the interactive learning technology of multimedia technology and network computer, plays an important role in promoting students' autonomous learning. In this lesson, I use the flashing of courseware lights to help students learn the phrase eastern suburb intuitively; Presenting the text through video helps students understand the text; By checking the weather online, we can make full use of network resources, help students master the methods to solve problems in life through modern scientific means, and guide students to obtain information from various channels.

5. Reuse existing resources and encourage students to use language comprehensively.

This lesson is a live record of the English research class in Haidian District. There are more than 100 teachers in class. The last part of teaching was originally that students invited their good friends to complete the task of making a class schedule. But with the development of teaching content, I suddenly had an instant inspiration to let students go down and invite the teachers present. This is a rare opportunity to practice. Dialogue between students and teachers is a process of comprehensive use of language, which is a good exercise for students to dare to speak English.

In short, the implementation of new curriculum standards is the development direction of primary education facing the new century, and it is also the main content of current education reform. Every teacher must emancipate his mind, renew his ideas, give full play to his leading role in teaching, seriously study teaching methods and optimize learning methods.

Besides, there are still many shortcomings in this course. For example, the communication between teachers and students is not deep enough; Teachers use too many teaching languages, sometimes interrupting students' speeches. More importantly, teachers should strive to improve their English language level, comprehensively exercise their adaptability, and be calm and steady in teaching.

On the thinking model of primary school English after class

This time, I was very lucky to participate in the biennial teaching rookie, which gave me the opportunity to see the wonderful things brought by 26 teachers. It is a rare learning opportunity for a new primary school teacher like me who has just returned to Jinyun.

After listening to the class, I wrote some personal reflections on this activity, hoping to bring more help and progress to myself, and also hope to discuss and communicate with all primary school English teachers and make progress together.

Among the 26 classes, the first class is Hu Qi from Shuinan Primary School. What impressed me most about this class was her demonstration design. This is Class Unit5, Grade Three. When she was teaching French fries, hamburgers, chicken, bread and hot dogs, she made a refrigerator for students to take food out of and enter the new class. This presentation is natural and intuitive, and at the same time, it creates a very good life scene. In the whole class, she has been using French fries as a reward to evaluate classes, which has realized the effectiveness of class evaluation and the rolling of new teaching knowledge.

Another wonderful class is teacher Yang Jing from Changkeng Primary School. This class is my friend in Unit 3, Grade Four. In my opinion, the most exciting part of this course should be the practice part. She started to sign up with "interest class!" Ask the students to report their favorite subjects, and then have a dialogue.

For example: S 1: My friend _ _ _ _ _ likes music.

Who likes music?

Ss:_ _ _ _ _ _ _ likes music.

This design allows registered students to cultivate "my friend, _ _ _ _, likes music." At the same time, it is good to let all the remaining students and teachers answer questions and let the whole class participate.

There are also wonderful classes for two men. Although there were only two people in this activity, they all showed their elegant demeanor, which is worth cultivating and developing.

Of course, there are too many wonderful segments in 26 classes, and everyone's wonderful is unique.

At the same time, after listening to 26 classes, I also have a lot of doubts. I summed it up and wrote it down, hoping to get help from Mr. Shen and everyone and a better solution.

1. How can the fun and effectiveness of classroom activities be effectively unified?

Many of our classroom designs will contain many games, but they often become "games for the sake of games" carelessly. The whole class seems to be very lively, but after one class, most students don't know what they have learned or mastered a few sentences. As we all know, fun is important, but the effectiveness of the classroom is the most important. The design of any activity should serve students to acquire language knowledge and skills. If the activity deviates from the teaching goal, no matter how vivid it is, it can't get the ideal teaching effect. So I think our classroom teaching activities must not be misplaced.

2. How to integrate word teaching into sentence teaching?

In the classroom, many teachers only emphasize the teaching of words and carry out boring mechanical drills, often ignoring the organic combination of Protestant words and learned sentences. In fact, words are only an individual in language teaching, so we should integrate the individual into the whole. Words are very important, but don't forget to combine them with practice of sentence patterns. Only by using the intuitive teaching method of concretizing abstract content and creating vivid and effective reading activities and natural and real language scenes can students apply what they have learned, which is both interesting and informative, improve the memory rate of words and enable students to acquire language imperceptibly, and achieve better teaching results.

3. How to teach dialogue better?

Dialogue should be the most difficult problem to deal with, but you should know that no matter how long the dialogue is, it is also composed of sentences. In that case, why not break it down? A long dialogue, we can break it down into three, four or more small dialogues for teaching. When the small conversations are familiar, we can connect them back, so that the whole conversation is completed. This method can be summarized as grand total-subtotal.

4. How to use the tape recorder reasonably and effectively in class?

In this rookie competition, most teachers simply let the students listen to the recording in class, without making any demands on the students in advance, giving people the impression that they will only use tape recorders for their own use. Actually, this link is very important. Because of the demonstration and infection of tape recorders, especially for rural primary school students, we can subtly cultivate the habit of standardized reading and lay a good foundation for pronunciation and intonation. So I think there must be time for students to listen and follow, but which link should be better than recording and reading aloud?

I think it is better to put it after the demonstration and before the practice. After the demonstration, students can basically identify the teaching content, and take the opportunity to let students follow and imitate for effective practice. The teacher asked the students to read after the tape, not just in form. At present, tape recorders are very popular in most schools in our county, and the cost of recording tapes is not high. Promoting the use of tape recorders and tapes is both economical and effective. In English teaching in primary schools, we should pay special attention to using tape recorders to make students imitate real, authentic and natural English, so as to lay a solid foundation for pronunciation and intonation at the beginning of English learning and pave the way for future English learning.

The above points are just some very superficial personal views. I hope I can get the guidance and help from Mr. Shen. Thank you, Mr. Shen.

Reflection on Fan Wensan after primary school English class

The content of this lesson is selected from Unit 4, Grade Three, Primary School English (Volume One). Because it is dialogue teaching, I have processed the teaching materials to a certain extent in the process of preparing lessons, and arranged the order of sentence patterns according to the actual life of students. At the same time, let the students create their own situations and practice the language and cultural knowledge they have learned. However, my overall design of the classroom is not clear enough, the teaching focus is not prominent enough, and the whole classroom has not appeared the bright spot I expected. Now I will explain the whole idea of this class as follows:

First of all, review the old lessons, introduce new lessons, and arrange the sentence order.

In this class, I use the song TeddyBear to enliven the classroom atmosphere, so that students can learn to speak TeddyBear unconsciously. At the same time, use TeddyBear's physical objects to deepen students' impression. I took out my teddy bear and said, I'm a teddy bear. It's true, Ilicate.

Present the sentence patterns in the text one by one. Then, present the key sentence pattern MayIhavealook through the game? Sure, here you are. And write children's songs to practice this sentence pattern:

Look up, look up, look down;

Havealook (liter) havealook (liter);

MayI (l) MayI (l) MayIhavealook (l)

SureSurehereyouare

thank you

Finally, practice teachers and students in class.

Second, autonomous learning.

First of all, use students' curiosity and fun-loving psychology to practice through games; Secondly, I think students' application of English is the key, so it gives students room to play freely. Through group cooperation, they can give full play to their imagination, think about what scenes they can learn, and let them write and perform. In this way, students can learn and use English flexibly, and at the same time, they can cultivate their performance ability.

Third, the classroom design is unreasonable, there are gaps in the classroom teaching process, and the difficulties have not been solved.

Judging from the whole class, TeddyBear's statement at the beginning of the class was natural and easy for students to accept, but it was snice. Ilikate. This sentence pattern appears suddenly, which is not easy for students to master, and there are gaps in the classroom teaching process, which does not solve the difficulties for students to learn sentence patterns. The presentation form of sentences is not innovative enough to grasp the psychological characteristics of students. The teaching schedule is not reasonable enough, students have not fully practiced what they have learned in class, and have not been able to make good use of their full imagination to create situations and speak a lot of English. If we can do a good job in teaching and learning sentence patterns from easy to difficult, provide students with opportunities to speak and give them more time to practice, the classroom effect will be better, and we can break through the difficult problem of sentence pattern teaching.

Reflection on Fan after primary school English class

Although my English class is not so good, every time I go to class, I always hope the teachers will bring me more surprises. After all, I still have a desire to learn. This time, I was lucky enough to take part in English classes with teachers from other counties, such as Wu Haiyan, Shanxi and Shanxi. Although they are young, they fully tap classroom resources, adopt colorful teaching methods, design teaching activities at different levels, develop students' language expression ability and thinking imagination, stimulate students' interest in learning English, cultivate their positive attitude towards learning English, build their initial self-confidence in learning English, cultivate students' language sense and good pronunciation and intonation foundation, and initially form their ability to make simple daily communication in English, thus laying a foundation for further study.

Experienced teachers know that an excellent class must have a good lead-in. In other words, a good lead-in is the first link of a class, which can make students have great interest in listening to lectures and cooperate with you to keep the whole class hot. For example, the content of teacher Wu Haiyan's class is "You are our friend now!" So make friends to introduce the content of this lesson, stick to the theme, give students more information about this friend, and leave room for imagination. It gives the classroom a humanistic atmosphere from the beginning.

The teaching objectives, key points and difficulties of a class can be said to be the basic skeleton of a class, and the teaching objectives can be said to be the ultimate goal of the all-round intellectual development of an English class. The key and difficult point is to understand and solve the practical problems encountered in practice in a class. In the process of listening to lectures during the training, I realized that the teaching contents and practical measures in the whole teaching process of a class are for the basic skeleton of teaching, that is to say, what knowledge we should know and solve those problems in this class is the most important thing in a class, and then what skills and methods we use to guide these knowledge and solve these problems. The skeleton of a class can support a class. In my teaching practice, I can't grasp the teaching skeleton in the classroom well, which eventually leads to the situation of "giving up the basics", leading to the failure to grasp the goals and difficulties in teaching, and making the classroom seriously out of touch with teaching and learning. After listening to several English teachers' classes, I feel that the important links in the class are very firmly grasped and the skeleton is very obvious. Today, I gradually realized that a class is "colorful". If I don't grasp the basic skeleton of the whole class, then this class is an "empty shell" that has not completed the most important indicators. I also think that if a class is diversified and not boring and interesting, it should be flesh and blood to make the whole English course active. How much is it, for example, by Hu Qi? The reading and writing part of this lesson focuses on big, small, long and short writing and how much is the sentence? And answer. Teachers use fishing to practice words and sentences, and students' enthusiasm is very high, and good teaching results have been achieved. Teachers' activities about the whole class design are all around the difficulties and teaching objectives, and the learning effect is obvious.

With the development of modern social science and technology, it is nothing new for many teachers to use multimedia teaching. The picture is beautiful and vivid, which can attract students' attention. However, it is unrealistic to use multimedia teaching in every class at present, and obviously the stick figure can not be ignored. Teacher Shan You Na makes good use of stick figures in her pronunciation class. In class, she shows the pronunciation of the letter O through stories and stick figures: Today is the dog's birthday. There is a birthday party at its home ... while talking, she paints and coaxes, which leads to the word fo__ rose and introduces the pronunciation of O. These vivid stick figures reflect the teacher's inner artistic accomplishment and talent. Good teaching results have been achieved.

Our teachers are the developers of courses, the promoters and guides of students' learning, the motivators of students' healthy growth, and the researchers and practitioners of teaching theory. How to get rid of the situation that students' English level can't be improved because of the excitement of English class? In the long teaching process, we still need to make more efforts.

Reflection on Fan after primary school English class

I graduated from primary school English class and worked in a remote mountain village.

There are no electronic teaching AIDS here, only chalk, blackboard and books; The guardians of the students here are all elderly people (both parents work in other places) and there is no family education. I teach English in Grade Three and Grade Four in Grade Five. This class is a duplex class. In addition, primary school English is not tested, and parents and schools don't pay much attention to it. You can imagine how difficult it is to teach this course well!

I seldom have the opportunity to attend classes, but I feel the same every time I attend classes, and I feel that their teaching methods can't be implemented here at all, so every time I listen to them, I don't care! I have improved myself, such as self-taught exams, but I just don't know how to teach English in primary schools better!

However, after listening to several wonderful classes, especially Wu Aihong's speech, I learned what to do, what to learn and what to want ... I can't wander around like a headless fly!

Although I passed CET-4, those are all over. Do you know that?/You know what? This training, just when Mr. Wu asked us to write a few words, I really want to find a hole to drill in! It turns out that I have returned a lot of things to the teacher!

Think about it, reflect on it, and I will seize the opportunity to study and study again! You can't let yourself live in the past, let alone live in anger! Everyone else has given up on you. How can you give up on yourself?

In this competitive society, if you don't adapt to this society, you will be eliminated. Although the conditions here are very poor, although the teaching here is very tired, although this can give yourself a reason to be lazy, but if you want to live like this, you have to change and work harder!

Therefore, in rural areas, we have to pay the price, make painstaking efforts and learn more knowledge to make up for the lack of hardware facilities. There is no multimedia classroom, so stick figure can be used instead; Without a tape recorder, you can learn more English songs and teach yourself!

It is said that teachers are engineers of the human soul, and you are educating a person's soul, not simple skills. If you are careless, you will miss someone's child, so you still have a long way to go!

As a primary school English teacher, I have to shoulder the arduous task: primary school English is mainly to stimulate their interest and motivation; Cultivate students' good study habits and enable them to acquire some perceptual knowledge of English; Lay a good foundation, learn a certain amount of vocabulary, get in touch with a certain amount of daily communication terms, and have a preliminary communicative ability based on listening and speaking ability; Make students receive good ideological and moral education in English learning and develop their personality healthily and harmoniously. So at this time, we are their enlightenment stars. If you miss it at this stage, it will be difficult to correct it in the future, which may lead to lifelong sequelae! In this way, how can we remember our parents, how can we remember the seedlings of our country, and how can we remember our own conscience?

In the process of reflection, I understand a truth: as a teacher, I should know how to learn, know how to love and know how to pay!

Isn't there such a sentence? "There is no end to teaching and no end to learning." In the developing society, in this unpredictable world, as a teacher, if you don't charge yourself in time, you will stumble in front of students and fall into an embarrassing atmosphere! Therefore, as teachers, we should know how to learn and how to learn. Only in this way can we face the students calmly without damaging the image!

What about love? How to love? First, love this profession: If you don't love this profession, you will not be in the mood to engage in education and spiritual work, and naturally there will be no good results! Second, we should love our lovely students: now we treat these students as our own children, go into their hearts and understand their needs and desires, so as to better educate them!

On the internet, I often see comments like "the treatment of teachers is worse than beggars, and the requirements of teachers are higher than God", describing that teachers have low income and high requirements! Although our life is not as exaggerated as they say, it is not far from here. How can I put it? If nothing else, our rural teachers are far from the teachers in the city! Our teacher's salary is obviously much lower than that of other units, which is known to all who live in this world! So that's why we gave up teaching? Because of this, you're here all day, and monks ring bells all day? Is that why you indulge yourself? Of course not! People live in this world not only for material enjoyment, but also for spiritual pursuit, isn't it? Don't we feel gratified when we see that our children are more sensible every day? Don't you feel happy to see children have more knowledge? Don't you feel happier than their parents when they see their children get excellent grades? We have so much happiness at our fingertips, why should we think about so many material things? So, know how to pay!

I once wanted to give up being an English teacher in primary school. Feeling too tired and demanding, people are overwhelmed! I always think that I am not worse than others, just like a sentence: "If the happy little bluebird can fly over the rainbow, why, oh, why can't I?" "After hard work, I believe I will make progress! Even if I don't succeed, I think I have tried, and I have no regrets, not to mention hundreds of ways to live! Just like this Wenzhou training, I will study hard and make up for my shortcomings. If you can continue to be a primary school English teacher, that's best; If not, I won't regret it. After all, I have the opportunity to improve my quality and master more knowledge!

I believe that God will not lose to an industrious person, a wise leader, and will not give up a silently dedicated subordinate! Therefore, as a teacher, we should correct our mentality, enrich ourselves and improve ourselves, and don't care too much about gains and losses! You know, although we are mortal, our name is "teacher"!
