The development of history

Zalaite, Mongolian, is the name of ancient Mongolian tribes. According to the study of Manchu place names, "Zhalai" means depression.

At the beginning of Qing Dynasty, a part of Horqin Department of Mongolia was included in Zhalaite Banner, which was located in inder Town and belonged to Zhelimu League. In the 28th year of Guangxu (1902), Zalaite Disaster and Famine Bureau was established, and the foundation stone of Honggangzi Street of Mole was laid one after another.
