How did Song Ci die?

Song Ci (1 186- 1249), Jianyang (now Nanping, Fujian), a native of Nanhe County, Xingtai City, Hebei Province, was a descendant of Song Jing in the Tang Dynasty. Born in the 13th year of Xiaozong Xichun in the Southern Song Dynasty (1 186).

In the eighth year of Chunyou in the Southern Song Dynasty (1248), Song Ci was appointed as a direct bachelor of Huanzhangge, as well as an ambassador to Guangzhou and Guangdong. He suddenly felt dizzy, but he still attended the ceremony of offering sacrifices to Confucius. From then on, he couldn't afford it.
