What is five oils, three waters and five fetuses?

Car maintenance should be five oils and three waters. Five oils refer to gasoline, engine oil, gearbox oil, power direction engine oil and brake oil, three oils refer to tank water, wiper water and battery water, and five tires refer to the basic maintenance of five tires, which can make the car run better.

(1) How to check the transmission oil?

You can check your gearbox oil when changing the oil. Because the inspection process is complicated, you can find the service department of the dealer to handle it. In order to measure accurately, the car must be in neutral P, driving at full speed and parked in a flat place. The engine oil must run to the working temperature of 80℃~ 93℃. Note: too much or too little engine oil may damage the gearbox. Too much oil may cause excessive running resistance of parts, or make gearbox oil blister and deteriorate, resulting in abnormal wear of parts. Therefore, when you check the transmission oil, you must measure it accurately.

(2) How to check the gasoline?

As long as you are diligent in checking whether the oil meter is true or not. Note: Don't let your oil meter go down before refueling. All new cars are composed of electric gasoline pumps and electronic fuel quantity sensors. Pay attention to soaking in gasoline to dissipate heat. In addition, the low fuel quantity will also affect the oxygen sensor of the exhaust system. These parts are not cheap, don't go beyond the bottom line before refueling.

(3) How to check the brake oil?

Just open the hood to see the liquid level of the brake oil pot, as long as it is not lower than the lower limit. Note: Do not add brake oil without checking the brake oil level, so as not to add too much brake oil, which will spray brake oil on the high-temperature engine, causing parts to corrode or even catch fire. If there are bubbles in the brake oil, or the oil becomes dirty, it means that the brake oil has deteriorated. Please replace it as soon as possible to avoid bubbles when the boiling point of brake oil is lowered, which will make the braking effect worse and very dangerous.

(4) How to check the oil?

Pull out the oil meter every few days, wipe it clean, plug it in again, and then pull it out to see if the oil level is between the upper limit and the lower limit. Note: Generally speaking, the oil consumption is not serious enough to spend the period between maintenance, but in summer, due to the hot weather, the oil consumption will be higher than usual. If impurities or gasoline smell are found in the engine oil during daily inspection, and the smoke is light blue, it means that there is something wrong with the engine and the parts may be abnormally worn, so go to the manufacturer for repair.

(5) How to check the power direction oil?

When the engine cools down, clean the fuel tank cover and the top of the oil reservoir, then unscrew the directional fuel tank cover, clean the dipstick with a clean fiber-free paper towel, then lock it, and then open and pull it out to check the oil level of the dipstick. Note: When filling or changing oil, the correct power direction oil must be used. If used improperly, it will damage the steering gear.
