The sunset melts gold, and the twilight clouds meet the wall. Where are people?
& lt Harmony Music —— Li Qingzhao's Sunset Melts Gold, Twilight Merges. Where are people? Dye willow smoke and play plum blossom flute. What do you know about spring? Is there no wind and rain when the weather is harmonious during the Lantern Festival? Come and greet BMW and thank his drinking buddies and poems. Zhongzhou is in its prime, and the boudoir is full of leisure. Remember points three to five. Pave the green crown, twist the golden snow willow, cluster and fight for Chu. Now haggard, windy and foggy, afraid to go out at night. It's better to listen to people laughing under the curtain. Song of Eternal Sorrow is a work by Li Qingzhao when she took refuge in Jiangnan in her later years, and it describes her feelings at a Lantern Festival. The first part of the poem describes the sadness of living in a foreign land during the Lantern Festival, focusing on the contrast between the joy of objective reality and the sadness of her subjective mood. The first two sentences, "The sunset melts into gold, and the twilight clouds merge together", write about yat sen villa, which is a good weather for the festival, with broad artistic conception and gorgeous colors. Followed by the word "where are people", I pointed out my situation: wandering in a foreign land, homeless, in sharp contrast to auspicious days. (The "people" here, some commentators think, refer to the relatives that Li Qingzhao misses. From the text point of view, it seems better to refer to the author himself. The first three sentences write about the weather at that time, and the last three sentences write about the season at that time, "Leave willow smoke thick, blow plum flute to complain", pointing out that the season is early spring. Visually, the young willow trees in early spring are shrouded in light smoke. The next sentence puts pen to paper from the hearing, and through the sad tune from the flute, it is associated with the early spring scenery of "falling plums like snow". Spring is everywhere and the scenery is pleasant, but in the poet's view, after all, "knowing how much spring" is far from very rich. Although it is "Lantern Festival" and "warm weather", the changes of national events and the ups and downs of life experiences over the years have made the poetess feel that "things are different" and "good times don't last long". So, after the "melting weather", I immediately pointed out the possibility of "it won't rain next time". In the faint spring, I was mixed with deep worries. The above three sections are similar in structure, and they are all two four-sentence sentences. In fact, they are all written, describing pleasant objective scenery, followed by a question, which reflects the difference in subjective feelings. It boils down to the theme of this article: holidays, although the weather is sunny, but I have no intention of enjoying it. Therefore, although some "wine friends and poetry friends" invited her to "have a car and a BMW" to watch the lights and enjoy the moon, she had to politely decline. On the surface, the reason is fear of encountering "wind and rain". In fact, it is a national disaster, and I have long lost the mood of enjoying the lights and playing with the moon. If it is in the prosperous times, the situation will be very different. In this way, the poet naturally turned to the memories of celebrating the festival in Bianjing. The second half of the poem focuses on the author's happy mood of spending the Lantern Festival in Bianjing before crossing the south, in order to compare with the bleak scene now. "Zhongzhou" refers to Bianjing, the capital of the Northern Song Dynasty, which is now Kaifeng City, Henan Province; "March 5th" refers to the 15th of this month, which is the Lantern Festival. At that time, in order to decorate the peace, the Song Dynasty was extremely luxurious on the Lantern Festival. According to the "Da Song Xuan He Legacy", "from the beginning of the twelfth lunar month to the sixteenth day of the first month" is really "every family lights up and plays the strings everywhere". Among them, there was a scene on the fourteenth day of the first month of the sixth year of Xuanhe: "There were clouds and waves in the capital, and there were moths of jade, plum, snow and willow until the lamp was seen in Aoshan." There is a similar record in the article "16th day of the first month" in Meng Yuanlao's Tokyo Dream. In this word, "spreading a blue crown, twisting golden snow willows and fighting for Chu" is exactly what the author wrote when he was in a happy mood and dressed up for a trip with his "boudoir" female companion. It's all realism, not fiction. However, the good times did not last long, and the nomads from the army invaded, leaving them stranded in different places. Now people are old, haggard and disheveled. Although it is also a holiday, how can they have the heart to travel abroad? "It is better to listen to people laugh under the curtain", which reflects the poet's sad and lonely state of mind.
