How to plant Fugui bamboo seeds

Planting method of Fu Guizhu in soil culture

1, soil selection and planting

In the planting method of Fugui bamboo, soil culture can be used. Choose soft and fertile soil, which can be made by mixing peat soil, humus soil and sandy soil according to the ratio of 4:2: 1, then insert a section of 10 cm stem into the soil and water it once, so that the rich bamboo can take root in about one month.

2. Light and temperature conditions

Fuguizhu likes dark environment, so when planting, don't let it receive direct sunlight, you can choose scattered light. In terms of temperature, Phyllostachys pubescens is suitable for growth in summer, and the temperature is between 22-38℃. Fu Guizhu should be kept indoors in winter, and the lowest temperature should not be lower than 6℃, otherwise it will be frostbitten.

3. Water and fertilizer conditions

When Fu Guizhu is watering, it can be watered once every three days, and it can be watered once every 23 days in winter. If tap water is selected, it needs to be precipitated for a period of time to filter out impurities. Also pay attention to spraying water on the leaves of Fu Guizhu as much as possible, and don't water the roots. The fertilizer is mainly phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, and it is enough to fertilize once every 30 days.

Hydroponic planting method of Phyllostachys pubescens

1, branch processing

Hydroponics can also be used to grow abundant bamboo. First, select the branches with good growth, cut off the leaves at the bottom, then cut an oblique mouth at the bottom of the branches, pay attention to the smoothness of the oblique mouth, apply some rooting powder to the wound, and finally put the branches of Fuguizhu in a semi-cool and ventilated place to dry.

Step 2 choose bottle planting

In hydroponics, if you want to choose a suitable container, you can use a cylindrical glass vase or glass, and then fill the container with water. The water level is just 1/3 of the container, so it is better to use pure water. After treatment, put the branches into the water, put the vase in the shade to take root, and don't move the vase often.

3. Change water and fertilize

For hydroponics, it takes about 10 days to change water. If the weather is dry, spray water on its leaves every day, otherwise its leaves will turn yellow. It is also necessary to add nutrient solution to the water every other month, and appropriate amount of VC or aspirin powder can be added, which can speed up the growth of Fu Guizhu.
