To be responsible for the research on policies, regulations, norms and technical standards related to ship inspection; Responsible for the supervision and management of the qualification of legal survey institutions and survey personnel in the province; Responsible for the management of the ship drawing review business in the province; To be responsible for the management of technical archives of ship inspection; Responsible for organizing the professional training and assessment of ship surveyors in the province; Responsible for the development, use and maintenance of ship inspection business software; Participate in the investigation of major average and machine damage accidents of ships; Responsible for supervising and managing the design quality of ship design units; Responsible for ship inspection technology innovation, new technology promotion, ship standardization and energy saving and emission reduction.

Publicize and implement the laws and regulations on water search and rescue, and formulate implementation measures for search and rescue; Responsible for contact, communication and coordination with the superior maritime search and rescue center, adjacent maritime search and rescue centers and search and rescue member units; Organize the preparation and improvement of emergency plans for major water disasters, and carry out drills for relevant plans; Organize and coordinate the water search and rescue work in the jurisdiction; Carry out activities such as exchange training on water search and rescue work; Responsible for the 24-hour duty of the Provincial Water Search and Rescue Bureau; Collect information such as weather forecast and navigation management, analyze and evaluate in time, and put forward preventive measures; Responsible for the video monitoring of water traffic and GPS supervision of ships in the local maritime system of the province.
