1 Xiadu Park

Xiadu Park, formerly known as He Jiong Laohe, was built in 1995. It was built by digging a lake in the upper reaches of Guishui River flowing through Yanqing District. It echoes and complements Guichuan Square, a famous central greening square built by 1998. The park covers a total area of 3,500 mu, of which the water area is 1 10,000 mu. It is divided into two lakes, East Lake in donghu district and Lotus Lake in West Lake.
