The "keel" was discovered in Huanggang, Hubei Province. Did dragons really exist?

According to the site investigation at that time, perhaps dragons really existed, but there is no more evidence to prove this, so the answer is still unknown. In China, the dragon has always been a classic animal that only exists in myths and folklore.

It can often be seen in film and television dramas. It's huge, and it can call the wind and rain. The dragon is regarded as the ruler of weathering rain and is often used as a mascot to ward off evil spirits, avoid disasters and pray for good luck. However, in reality, we can't find too many traces of dragons, which makes the image of dragons always illusory. A keel was discovered in Yingkou in 1934.

at the beginning of July, 1934, such a thing happened in Yingkou. Many locals said that a live dragon was found in the upper reaches of Tianzhuangtai, but when it was found, it was already in a state of dying. People speculated that it was because the weather was too hot, so they immediately poured water on it to cool it down and built a arbor to let it enjoy the cool. However, after several days of heavy rain, it disappeared.

Until the beginning of August this year, a corpse suspected to be a keel was found 1 kilometers away from the mouth of Liaohe River. After the discovery, the bone was handed over to a school in Yingkou for specimen, but due to the war, the keel also disappeared. In 1983, something about dragons was discovered again in Hubei Province.

The keel was found in Zhangcheng Village, Baihu Township, Huangmei County, Huanggang City, Hubei Province. In July, 1993, Hubei Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology organized an archaeological team to excavate this site. Experts unearthed a pebble-placed plastic dragon, which is a dragon pattern made of pebbles. What's amazing is that the image of the dragon is very vivid. It holds its head high, its mouth is open, its abdomen is full, its back has fins, its tail is rolled up, and it has scales on its body. This plastic dragon is about 7 meters long, which is very similar to the mythical dragon.

Experts speculate that dragons may have existed, because this site has a history of thousands of years. It should be that people in that period had seen dragons, so they posed as dragons with stones. However, whether dragons really exist is still unknown.
