Huang taiji's white horse

Among the stone carvings in front of Zhaoling Mausoleum in Shenyang, the mausoleum of Huang Taiji, there are two white marble stone carvings the size of real horses. It is said that it was carved after two war horses that Huang Taiji rode before his death. Huang taiji is known as the "once emperor", which naturally helps the white horse to win the world. And the story of these two white horse saviors has always been passed down as a much-told story.

When Huang Taiji fought in the north and south, there were two white war horses that he especially loved. These two white horses are called "big white" and "small white" respectively because of their fat and thin bodies. Walk 500 miles in the daytime and be good at galloping on the battlefield. When attacking the enemy, you will win every battle; Xiao Bai can walk thousands of miles a day. He is good at marching on the road and running as fast as lightning. Especially due to the huge size of Huang Taiji, among all the war horses, only "Dabai" and "Xiaobai" can carry heavy loads, which is naturally another important factor for them to be favored by Huang Taiji. The two war horses gave full play to their respective advantages, accompanied their masters to gallop on the battlefield, and repeatedly made meritorious military service.

One summer, Huang taiji's father, Nurhachi, was blocked when he fought the Ming army in Daling River. The situation was extremely critical, so people were sent to Shengjing for emergency treatment. When Huang Taiji heard the news, he led an army to rescue him. Shengjing is five or six hundred miles away from Daling River. In addition, the weather is extremely hot and the road is difficult. If he rides an ordinary war horse to rescue, he will not arrive in time. However, Huang Taiji rode Xiao Bai to the battlefield overnight and beat him back when the Ming army was caught off guard. Xiao Bai took the lead in this action.

On another occasion, Zu Dashou, the deputy commander-in-chief of the Ming army in Daling River, who is known as "ten thousand enemies", sneaked into the camp of Huang Taiji at night. First he broke into the tent with a knife and cut down two guards who kept accounts. Huang Taiji, who was reading the document in Zhang Zhongjun, didn't notice it at all. Just at this critical moment, the screams of two white horses suddenly came from outside the account, which made Huang Taiji return to absolute being. Only then did I know that my life was in danger, so I quickly drew my sword to fight, and finally saved the day with the help of Barbelle who arrived later.

In the battles of Songshan and Xingshan, when Huang Taiji's men camped at the foot of the mountain, they were attacked by Cao Bian, the company commander of the Ming army in Songshan City. They rushed into the camp and into the account when Huang Taiji's men were exhausted and sleepy. At this critical moment, it was the scream of a white horse that woke Huang Taiji and his men from their sleep. The archers and guards who arrived in time repelled the sneak attack and saved Huang Taiji's life again. This time, it is also the credit of the white horse.

Later, these two white horses fought bloody battles with their masters, so that Huang Taiji defeated the130,000 Ming army in one fell swoop, and captured BenQ Liao Governor Hong Chengchou alive, and finally established the Great Qing Dynasty. Dabai and Xiaobai have made great contributions to this. After the death of Huang Taiji, his descendants still remember the founding exploits of two white horses. Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty once wrote the poem "Shibaoge" to celebrate his achievements.
