How to store sweet potatoes in buildings

Before the first frost comes, sweet potatoes need to be dug out of the ground. Try not to damage its skin when digging. Stored in a previously dug cellar. 1. Once the cellar temperature drops, immediately cover the vent for thermal insulation, and use heating facilities for proper heating if necessary.
3. When the humidity in the cellar is low, water should be added to the cellar pool or wet grass curtains should be laid on the walkway to increase the air humidity in the cellar.

5. After taking seed potatoes in spring, the sweet potato seedlings are prepared to be preserved for an extended period. After the weather gets hot, we should also pay attention to the ventilation of the cellar. For long-term sealed potato pits with a large number of rotten potato pieces, the ventilation vents should be opened in advance before entering the pits, and the pits can only be entered after the safety is confirmed, so as to avoid the managers from suffocation due to lack of oxygen.
