What kind of speed block is cumulus weather?

Cumulus can be divided into translucent cumulus, shadow cumulus, pod cumulus, cumulus-like cumulus, flocculent cumulus and fort cumulus. Altocumulus can evolve with stratocumulus, stratocumulus and cirrocumulus.

altocumulus clouds

Cumulonimbus cloud in winter indicates the arrival of active cyclone, especially when it becomes cumulonimbus cloud, there will be long-term rainfall. In summer, if cumulus turns into a tower, it indicates the arrival of a storm.

Translucent cumulus clouds

Semi-transparent altocumulus clouds are thin and white, usually arranged neatly in one or two directions. There is an obvious gap between clouds. Even if there is no gap, the edge of the cloud is bright, and the position of the sun and the moon can be distinguished.

Opaque cumulus clouds

Clouds of shadow altocumulus (Ac op) are thick and dark gray, and there is no gap between them, so it is impossible to distinguish the positions of the sun and the month. Clouds are irregularly arranged, often dense layered clouds, with occasional short-term precipitation.

Lenticular altocumulus

Podlike cumulus clouds are white, thick in the middle, thin in the edge and well-defined, usually pod-shaped or oval. When clouds are illuminated by sunlight and moonlight, they usually produce rainbow colors. Podlike cumulus clouds are usually formed where there is updraft in the lower part and downdraft in the upper part. When the cloud formed by adiabatic cooling of the updraft is blocked by the downdraft above, it can't continue to spread upward, and its edge is thin due to evaporation due to the temperature increase of the downdraft, so it is pod-shaped. When the airflow passes through the mountain, it will cause air fluctuation behind the mountain, and it can also form lenticular clouds, as shown in figure 1. If lenticular clouds appear in isolation and no other cloud system matches them, it usually indicates sunny days. An agricultural proverb says, "There are pod clouds in the sky, and there are people basking in the sun on the ground".

cumulonimbus

Cumulonimbus Altocumulus (Ac cug) has different sizes, grayish white, and looks a little like cumulus. It is formed by rotten cumulonimbus clouds or expansion of cumulonimbus clouds. It generally indicates that the weather is gradually stabilizing.

Ac flo opaque cumulus clouds

The edge of flocculent altocumulus cloud (Ac flo) is mixed with the surrounding unsaturated air to evaporate, so that the edge of the cloud is broken, like cotton wool, and it is gray or grayish white. The size of the cloud is very inconsistent with its height in the air. Flocculent cumulus clouds are formed by the unstable wet air layer and strong turbulent mixing in the air. The appearance of such clouds in some areas usually indicates thunderstorm weather.

Castellanus cumulus, ac casting

The shape characteristics and weather of Ac cast are similar to those of Accast, but the cloud is smaller and higher.
