After a heavy rain, Mike met a strange-looking dog at an abandoned railway station. Guided by the dog, Mike saw the source of the rainbow. Mike and his good friends Pete and Dixie came here excitedly and found nothing but a triangular black soil. Peter and Dixie laughed at Mike for bragging, and Mike was very disappointed.

Dixie accidentally experimented with those black soils and found that they could emit strange light. Dixie and Pete find Mike, hoping to find the source of the rainbow with him. So three friends began to develop their own theodolite and make maps with computers, just waiting for the rainbow to appear.

Mike took out his camera and took pictures of his friends. Steve found that all the shining molecules in the rainbow were gold. Steve secretly hid three pieces of gold in his clothes. Soon the rainbow disappeared and the children returned to the ground.

However, they came to a strange place and were finally discovered after trudging for hours. Only then did they know that they had come to the west from the eastern part of the United States. The children were sent to the police station, and the police didn't believe what they said until Mike called his mother to confirm that they were from the east. The children were sent to the airport, and Mike took the opportunity to develop the photos.

Mike's mother is a TV reporter. Her boss heard her talk with Mike and sent a large number of reporters to the airport.
