The first is that it is rainy in southern my country every year in summer, and the precipitation is relatively heavy. Many areas may experience heavy rains. Maybe people in the north rarely see heavy downpours, but people in the south have seen it all the time. In summer, dark clouds appear in the sky, and then a burst of rain falls like a column of water. And the rain lasted for a long time, and soon the dry ponds were filled.

The second is that my country’s urban drainage system is imperfect, and it is difficult for rainwater to penetrate. Our country's urban drainage system was built many years ago. Few builders could have predicted that China would develop so fast in the future. The underground drainage system was not perfected ahead of time. It is difficult for sewer construction in general cities to keep up with the rapid development of our current cities. development, drainage performance still needs to be improved. Coupled with the severe weather in recent years and the lack of green belts in urban areas, which mostly consist of high-rise buildings, asphalt roads, cement roads, etc., heavy rainwater cannot seep into the ground and can only accumulate on the surface. Low-lying areas will be flooded first by silted water, and waterlogging will seriously disrupt the normal life of residents.
