Where is the Ice Cave Scenic Area in Qiu Yun, Shaanxi?

Shanxi Wannian Ice Cave is located in Chunjingwa Village, 50 kilometers west of ningwu county, Xinzhou City, which is a scenic spot of Luya Mountain.

Wannian Ice Cave was formed during the Cenozoic Quaternary Glacier Period, with a history of 3 million years.

It is unique in that, based on the climatic conditions outside the local cave, it is impossible to form an icy environment. The icicles in the cave do not melt all the year round, and the deeper the ice, the thicker it becomes. It is the largest ice cave found in China so far, and it is also a rare large ice cave found outside the frozen soil in the world so far. Less than 200 meters away from the ice cave, there is a Millennium fire, which is called Millennium volcano by the locals. This ice and fire, originally mutual grams, are wonderfully stored in the same mountain.

Ice cave formation conditions:

1, there must be two outlets, and there must be enough height difference between the two outlets, and the seal between them is good.

2. There must be a certain water source in the lower part of the hole, and the cold air entering the hole is not enough to completely condense it.

4. The upper outlet is on the shady side of the mountain or in the ravine.

The mountain near the ice cave is steep, but the rest of the mountain is high and there are no big gullies.
