Why is the red-crowned crane always "golden rooster independent"?

If there are elves in this world, then the red-crowned crane should not let them go. My understanding of the red-crowned crane began with Zhu Zheqin's well-known song The Story of the Red-crowned Crane, but my children have never heard this song. Just last summer, I participated in a summer camp activity of "I make friends with Xiaohe", set foot on the wild Zhalong wetland, and had close contact with the red-crowned crane for the first time.

Before the Spring Festival, the winter camp of the second season of "I Make Friends with Xiaohe" kicked off. When the children bid farewell to the old year and welcome the new year, they had another chance to return to Hexiang again, and came to the snowy northern grassland with only one purpose, to accompany the red-crowned crane for a different New Year.

Red-crowned crane is a large wading bird, about 1.5 meters tall, and can fly long distances. It has slender legs and a neck. Usually, the flying feathers on the feet and tail are black, its whole body feathers are white, and the top of its head is light red. The reason why the red-crowned crane's head is red is that two months after its birth, its feathers begin to fall off and its skin surface is covered with capillaries, so it appears red. Although the red-crowned crane has only been bald for two months, its life span is long. An adult crane can live to be eighty or ninety years old, and the longest crane can live to be over one hundred years old. It can be said that the red-crowned crane can accompany people all their lives.

Red-crowned cranes like to peck at fish, shrimp and insects in the water, as well as the roots and fruits of aquatic plants, so there are more than 400 red-crowned cranes in Zhalong Wetland of Qiqihar, of which more than 350 are wild red-crowned cranes, and more than 60 are artificially propagated and raised. So even in winter, many red-crowned cranes don't want to fly to the south for winter.

Zhalong Wetland has famous rivers and lakes such as Wuyuer River, Xianhe Lake, Longhu Lake and Nanshan Lake, with a water surface of about 2000 mu. The winding long and short rivers in the wetland connect all the lakes and bubbles, forming a water system as dense as a spider web, just like a bright pearl strung by winding ileum, setting off green vegetation, and the scenery is very spectacular. During the high water season in summer, the river flows out of the trough and the lake overflows, which can form the mirror surface of Fiona Fang for hundreds of kilometers. In winter, because of the cold weather, rivers and lakes freeze, and the deepest part of the ice surface is more than 50 cm. As long as people are not afraid of slipping, they can walk on the rivers and lakes.
