Technical guidance for incubating chickens, can you incubate chickens at 37 degrees all the time?
Chick hatching can be divided into natural hatching and artificial hatching. Natural incubation means that hens hatch eggs. Natural incubation can provide suitable temperature and humidity, but it is not suitable for large-scale incubation of eggs. Pay attention to choosing the right hen when hatching naturally, and pay attention to activities such as lighting and eating hens when hatching. Artificial incubation should pay attention to temperature, humidity, ventilation, egg turning and other matters.
First, technical guidance for hatching chickens
Chick hatching can be divided into natural hatching and artificial hatching. Natural incubation means that hens hatch eggs, which can save labor and provide suitable temperature and humidity for eggs, but it is not suitable for large-scale incubation of eggs.
1, naturally hatch
(1) To hatch naturally, it is necessary to select an appropriate number of fertilized eggs and a hen variety suitable for hatching. The better breeds for brooding are black-bone chicken, cross-toed chicken, Opington chicken and ancient English chicken.
(2) Then judge whether the hen holds the nest, depending on whether it takes a nap in the nest and stays in the nest at night. Or you can find a hen with a naked ass. If it screams or even pecks, it means that the hen is in the incubation period; You can also put the eggs in the nest to see if the hens will stay in the nest all the time. If the hen stays in the nest all the time, it means that the hen is hatching eggs.
(3) Then put the hatched hens in a separate house so that they can hatch chicks. Build a comfortable nest in the incubation area and put in soft bedding, such as shavings or straw. The hatching place should be chosen in a quiet, dark and clean place to prevent potential predators.
(4) Put the eggs in the hen's nest, the hen will start to hatch within 24 hours, and you don't have to worry about turning the eggs over, because the hens will turn the eggs over during the incubation process.
(5) Hens have no time to find food once they start to hatch chicks, and then they will be more afraid of humans when they hatch chicks. Therefore, they usually have to prepare food and water for hens for several days at a time before hatching chickens, and try not to visit hens often, so as not to cause hens to panic.
(6) Hens can't hatch chicks all year round. Generally, chicks can only be hatched after the weather gets warmer in spring and summer, because the suitable temperature for hatching eggs is between 35 and 40℃. When the temperature is too low, the embryos of eggs will not develop. When the temperature is too high, the embryo is more likely to die.
(7) If the temperature is low in spring, it is necessary to extend the illumination time of hens at this time, so that hens with sufficient illumination can generate more heat. The general illumination time is between 12 and 14 hours.
(8) Take the hen out of the henhouse to eat, drink and defecate regularly every day. It takes about 20 minutes to drive the hen into the henhouse. When the hen comes out, you can cover it with cotton wool to keep warm.
(9) Generally, chickens will hatch after 2 1 day. If the eggs don't respond, it means that the eggs can't hatch chickens. In the first month, hens will take their chicks out for food and protect them.
2. Artificial incubation
(1) Choose good eggs for hatching, and choose high-quality eggs with disease-free, clean surface, uniform eggshell thickness and no damage. The storage time of eggs should not exceed 3 days at 10- 15℃ and 7 days at 2 1-25℃, otherwise the hatching effect will be affected.
(2) Disinfection of the eggs will pollute the eggs by feces and dust, and there will be a lot of bacteria on the eggshell surface, which will not only affect the hatching of the eggs, but also pollute the incubators and utensils to spread various diseases.
(3) The eggs are hatched in an incubator, and the temperature is strictly controlled during the incubation process, and the appropriate temperature is adjusted in time according to the incubation process. We should also take pictures of the eggs on time, so that we can observe the hatching of the eggs and find out the azoospermic eggs and early dead embryos.
(4) The incubation humidity must be strictly controlled. The relative humidity on the day of hatching 1- 18 is better at 50-60%, and that on the day of hatching 19-2 1 0 is better at 60-70%, which is beneficial to the uniform heating and radiation of embryos.
(5) Pay attention to ventilation when incubating eggs. Embryos need to inhale oxygen and expel carbon dioxide gas during their development, especially in the late incubation period. If the oxygen supply is insufficient, the chicks will suffocate in their shells. Ventilation can provide fresh oxygen and ensure uniform temperature and humidity in the incubator.
(6) Turn the eggs regularly during incubation. If the egg is not turned over for a long time, the embryo is easy to attach to the eggshell membrane, which affects the development of the embryo. Turning the egg can change the position of the embryo, prevent the embryo from adhering to the eggshell membrane, appropriately increase the activity of the embryo and promote the blood circulation of the embryo.
(7) After about 2 1 day, that is, within 24 hours after the chicks are hatched, Marek's vaccine should be inoculated, the temperature should be controlled at about 35℃, and the chicks should be fed with water and drinking water in time.
2. Can chickens hatch at 37 degrees?
1. Keeping the temperature at 37℃ can hatch chickens, but the success rate of hatching will decrease. When chicks hatch, the suitable temperature is between 37.8-38℃, and the temperature needs to be adjusted in time according to the incubation days.
2. Pay attention to the temperature of the incubation room when incubating chickens, so as to avoid the problem that embryos cannot hatch due to temperature fluctuation. Therefore, the heating and insulation equipment of the incubator needs to be improved.
3. It takes about 2 1 day for chicks to hatch, and the temperature is controlled at about 38.5℃ at the beginning of hatching 1-6 days, at about 38℃ at 7- 14 days, at 37.9℃ at hatching 15 days and at about 65438℃ at hatching.
4. When the eggs hatch to 20.5 days, a large number of chickens will break out of their shells, and the whole batch of hatched chickens can be liquidated as long as they are picked up twice; However, if eggs are hatched in batches, they need to be taken every 4-6 hours. When picking chicks, chicks with malabsorption of umbilical cord and dry villi should be temporarily left in the chick extractor.
