Reflections on rice fog after reading

When I looked out of the window, I suddenly found that there was no blue sky and white clouds, and there was a gray scene between heaven and earth, even the opposite building had only a hazy outline. This kind of weather is becoming more and more frequent, and the smog hangs over our city silently.

Haze is a turbidity phenomenon caused by a large number of particles such as smoke and dust suspended in fog. According to the remote sensing satellite monitoring of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, China 1.3 million square kilometers is shrouded in smog, and the air quality is seriously polluted.

How did the foggy weather come about? Many families own cars, which makes our travel more convenient, but the exhaust emissions of cars pollute the air; Power plants, oil refineries and chemical plants "do their best" in our city, but soot and dust are discharged day and night; Gorgeous fireworks and firecrackers are dazzling, but the air is full of smoke, which becomes very turbid, the air quality drops sharply, and the indexes of PM2.5 and PM 10 rise linearly. These are the main reasons for smog. They have brought us convenience and pleasure, but they have also quietly brought us unexpected consequences.

In foggy days, we breathe turbid gas. The smog in the air can cause pneumonia, pharyngolaryngitis, bronchitis, heart failure and other diseases. 1952, a fog-like stealth killer in London, England, claimed 4,000 lives in just five days and 8,000 lives in the next two months. It can be seen that the power of fog should also sound a wake-up call for us.

What we want is fresh air, and what we want is a healthy body. Please don't sacrifice your health for the so-called good life. Drive less, travel green, plant more trees, protect forests and control smog, starting from me.
